It's finally done. I've created a way for changing the sex of a player (Humans and Half-Elves only at the moment, as Humans are the only non-magical species) without polymorphing to an NPC static model. This system lets you become the opposite gender, and still have dynamic armour as a regular player.

I did this by replacing the large phenotype (A phenotype rarely used, I might add) and replacing it with the opposite gender's regular phenotype. However, some minor bugs are still in the system, such as riding a horse tearing your model apart. This could be avoided by creating a whole new phenotype itself, but I'm wary of 2da editing and I don't even know where to begin making a new phenotype from scratch.

However, it's a big step. With this system, people could make proper gender curses, proper hats of disguise, proper polymorphing, a shapechanger class, dynamic races that shapeshift (Such as demons) or something I can't even think of!

It is non-CEP compatible at the moment. I'll try to make a CEP compatible one; but this one was rather labor intensive. I'll see what can be done.

Does NWN recognize the gender of the PC in convos correctly? e.g. does it call a female form by feminine terms and the males by masculine terms such as she/he, her/him etc..?

Be well. Game on.

No it doesn't, but this can be fixed by use of a custom token; explaining away that the player wants to keep their pronouns or having unisex conversation. It's not perfect, but it works.

Instead of replacing the large, why not just add an additional phenotype? I personally use the large one quite a bit myself.

I didn't want to use 2da files; but I am in the process of making a version which is an additional phenotype for those who want it.
