I recently got Baldur's Gate from GOG.com  I want to see what the hype is.

I've read a few times on here that there are mods which improve the game greatly.  Can somebody please list which ones you consider "necessary"

There should be a thread about this in the Baldur's Gate forums here on the BSN. Just slide down to find them, they're near the bottom
