So Ive been playing the game on xbox 360 since friday..today I decide to
buy the exiled prince and do his missions etc before getting to end of
game.there was no where in the DLC area that indicated you had to buy
this at a certain point in game either.
I watched the cut scene where
he posts up the notice and when I go to the board I cannot inter act
with it. all you hear is the stupid women repeating the same message
over and over again...

Any help without restarting the game,cause I aint into losing 20+ hours of gameplay

I have finished the deep roads expidition and everything upto that point (all missions)..
Since then I have been doing side missions,companion missions just now rather than the main plot.trying to upgrade my guys etc.
so I bought the dlc today,watched the cut scene of him posting up the note,but cannot click on the board to accept the prince missions at all......I just keep hearing the woman repeating same message over and over..
do i carry on and hope it sorts itself out,or is there a certain point i need to go do this

In your quest log you should see 'Downloadable Content'. Do you have this?

yes mate,its all been downloaded,as i said nothing happens after the cut scene

 So it is  in you quest log?  If yes, what is the quest called? You don't actually play with him for the first mission.

Then perhaps it didn't load properly, which happens alot with this game engine. Have you tried reverting to a previous save?

Oh, also, try taking the dlc off of your HDD and dowload and install again.

We'll look in to this. To be clear, you're in Year 4/Act2? (Hawke has a mansion and Qunari are still an issue)

yes I have the mansion and I have not yet done the "demands of the Qun" mission or "prime suspect" main missions yet.
I have been doing the new side/companion missions thus far.

i'm having the same issue as well. right at the start of act 2.

however i have already accepted 2 missions from the chantry board "elves at large" and "sketchy on the details".

might that be the cause?

i only installed the dlc after i realised it was not in the game.

ahhh, thank goodness for autosave!

ok, i revert to the begging of year 4, right after speaking to the viscount on the blah blah blah qunari.

so it's basically fresh from the start of act 2.

so... for the dudes who downloaded the dlc, do not accept chantry board missions until u have seen the cutscene of high cleric and sebastian!

ok that's all.

i hope it works though, have not tried it yet!

There's at least one other posted topic on this exact problem (from a couple of days ago). Problem seems to be in Act 2. I've also seen this comment in so other posts around the forum.

Same problem here. Started act two, played a few hours doing every side quest and just started doing main quest(s) (black powder courtesy) and was wondering why I have yet to see the Prince.

Found the code on the /other/ side of the leaflet (face palm for double checking) and installed it.

I too have seen the intro cut scene where he posts on the board but I can no longer interact with the board myself.

I've done so much this act that I really don't want to restart the year via autosave!! I have the same problem with the Chanters Board, can anyone confirm that having open chanters quests in your journal affects this at all? I'm wondering if I finish off the ones I have open I'll be able to access the board?

My guess is that accepting those Chantry Board missions is permanently closing out the interactivity of the board thus affecting those of you who add Exiled Prince after this. I'll add this to the issue and hopefully it will be resolved soon. In the mean time it looks like you'll need to load before accepting all the missions from the Chantry Board if you want to get Sebastian in those playthroughs already affected by this.
