I apologize ahead of time to any fan girls who thought there was a possible ending that resulted in Anders and Bethany dating (due to the name of this topic), I just didn't know how to word it. I'm not sure how many of you made the same decisions that I did throughout the game so I'll let you know the important ones.

Bethany

*Took her with me in the Deep Roads
*Had her join the Grey Wardens
*Saw her being guided by Alistair

Anders

*Elected to keep him after the Chantry debacle, because I needed a mage with heal

Now on to why I created this topic. Shortly after I elected to keep Anders for the reasons above, my sister (Bethany) returned to my side because she said being a sister and helping her brother was more important than the Grey Wardens. This was really my only complaint about the story, could she not have returned before or during the Anders debacle? Because had I known I was going to get my sister back (a mage that has heal) I would've either killed Anders or sent him on his merry way rather than keep him in my party. I didn't even use him afterwards so I guess my complaint is void but I would've liked the opportunity to make a different choice. I hated that.

I kept him cause I needed a healer, otherwise i would have killed him.

Yeah it just irked me. I was sitting there thinking, the only reason I kept you around is for the problem that was solved mere moments later...

Indeed, this could also have been avoided by allowing Merrill to use the Creation tree.
