First off, the idea to put in voices for the main character was an amazing idea! Thank you for this. It got kind of dull in DAO just reading each response and trying to "imagine" what your character would sound like.
Second, for the most part, male Hawke's responses seemed pretty believable for most scences/storylines. There was realistic reactions to X or Y situation, especially when it came to the romance and dialouge with Anders and dealing with his personal issues.
I am planning on romancing Avaline next I think, as her voice acting seems to be genuine and believable.
Lastly though, unfortunately, in some major events/climaxes (that I cannot specifically say without spoiling), Hawke's responses and tone of voice were just completely monotone/cold hearted/robot-like for lack of better words
I am talking about scenes/circumstances that any human being would show some kind of emotion. I guess every player interprets these differently, but there were just some basic cutscenes were I expected a lot more "emotion".
Oh, and using Captain Janeway/Kate Mulgrew voice for Flemmeth has always been my favourite in both games!
She brought a nice balance of funny/serious/sexy mystique to Flemmeth. Awesome job on her
