Hey there.
I've benn DMing about four regular players in NWN2.
We started with the DMFI - A Stop Along the Way.
I had to level them up to lvl3 to survive.
I'm looking for a second module to put them through and have a couple of things to ask advice about:
note: that was my first time DMing ever. I'm not steeped in D&D knowledge. I barely remember the 2nd edition from my teen years.
1- I'd like to put them in more of a PW like setting and run side quests and character development quests; perhaps along a longer reaching epic campaign arc. Is that good for players as an experience?
2- I need a module which represents that kind of setting. Do you know one?
3- I'd like to put them through A Keep on the Borderlands. Two have nostalgic attachement to it. How do I adjust the difficulty to a party of 4 level 3-5 players?
Help me choose a module for my players level 4

Chronicles of Charnia - Lanterna MP works well in multiplayer and DMing. There are plenty of areas and space for creating your own side quests and character developement. The campaign companions can be used or not and our MP group would invite them all into the party and then park them in the roster to be used when one of our MP group members had to go or couldn't make it to the session. That way you could always have a party of 4 or 5 or whatever you want. Lanterna is designed to use the party editor (SoZ style) and/or use the campaign companions.
At "The Tavern of Hidden Tales", we also played the IWD remake in MP and that worked well with a DM and in MP mode. The group also played Tomb of Horrors Revisited which works well in MP mode.

Hi Longrath,
Re Keep on the Borderlands - I can't claim any knowledge of DMing in Neverwinter, but I've done a bit of building, so I know how easy (potentially) it could be to open the module up in the toolset (I'm presuming you're going to use one of the versions published in the vault, rather than build your own from scratch) and look around at the encounters to see what they are & beef them up a little - just like us P&P DMs would do with a paper module back in the day (ah, nostalgia...).
In case it helps, I played Enoa's version multiplayer a while back - http://nwvault.ign.c...h.Detail&id=129 - & had a great time - from what I remember it would be a great one to DM.
If you need any advice with the toolset - drop an enquiry in the Toolset forum, you'll get a load of replies.
