I have yet to hear from anyone that was able to have Fenris move in with them.  I am somewhat ashamed to admit the hours I devoted to this. I saved, replayed even deleted and started over again.  I have replayed everything I could think of.  If there is something I am missing...let me just say...It's not worth it.
Given what I have read on the romance topics.....if there is some hidden trick to get Fenris to move in with you, it's probably not worth the effort.

I would love to say this is a bug, but it's probably misinformation. Still, Merril's line was bugged so ... keep your fingers crossed? If nothing, it will be modded in later for no reason, haha.

Just FYI: No, Fenris never moves in with you. That's not a bug.

The guide is wrong on a lot of things, which is kinda annoying.

However, thank you David for clearing that up. Many of us were wondering.

Please have Prima/Bradygames do the next guide. The one by Piggyback is junk.

I heard it was, by many people? I've not personally played it.

When the game is FIRST released, you won't find the answers to your questions immediately. And you'll get a lot of guessing and stuff that isn't as helpful. After the game has been out for a while, and fan-made guides start appearing, I'm more inclined to agree with you.

Guides are supposed to have helpful goodies in them before players can dig up info themselves. Supposed to being the keyword.

Guides often have mistakes, don't pitchfork 'em.

Fenris: I want to make a future with you Hawke, but I would rather squat, than live in a nice mansion. I would only ruin your furniture.

to maselphine: well i played it and it was just fine althout it may be caused by previouse choices players made or effects of other bugs appearing in the game...

Do you really want Fenris moving in with you? He'd destroy your nice collection of Tevinter wine and utterly ruin your walls...

You guys do realize this is not that of a REALLY big deal? I mean I can feel for some of you who might really want to see the whole he moved in here! thing, but apart from that it has 0 worth whatsoever, your LI can't even talk to you while in home, they just give you a generic same line everytime you try to.

I'd say it's the same thing has using the fake brothel. I don't get the point of it. I think it's just the ... idea of the thing that's appealing?
