So here I was, getting some skin on my precious mage when I realized something.

I spent 30 points on Willpower in order to have more mana (current 340) to burn on spells.  Just to loose 102 mana to elemental weapon and arcane shield sustained spells. The more points I invest in Willpower the more mana will this two skills claim.

Here comes the worst part: Having Arcane Shield reserve 20 mana or 50 mana does not affect its stats/performance. So in the end game, when Arcane shield will reserve 100 mana, it still will give the same bonuses as it gave me reserving 20 mana.
WHAT THE HELL? Does that even make sense to anyone?

tl;dr
Having sustained spells reserve a fixed amount of mana makes perfect sense, having sustained spells reserve a % of mana does not.

Use activated abilities first then switch on sustained abilities. The game is designed to be this way and you'll play much more effectively if you do. How many times do people have to bring this up?

Nothing needs to be changed about it. You're going to ignore the advice I suppose.
