Siding with the Mages

Someone said I still have to fight Sephiroth at the end, but I was wondering what else was different besides letting Anders live. (Unless, the game makes you kill him anyway, wouldnt put it past it...)
I had to uninstall before I finished my second playthrough, I couldnt bare doing the same exact things over again, even when I'm trying not to.
So you side with Orsino, does he still become THETHINGFROMHELL, or what?

Orsino still becomes the icky thing if you side with the mages. You can let Anders live if you want. I did, and did not have to fight Fenris.

Sephiroth cannot hide himself from me, not even when he has boobs. Also, if you look closely, you can still see Sephiroth's facial features, even beyond all that make up.
AND WOW, So he still snaps.
Whats the point with siding with anyone then?
I wish this game was about the Wardens again....

-Orsino still turns into a nasty thingo.
-If your friendship/rivalry with Fenris or Avelline aren't high enough they have a chance to leave and you may have to fight them later if you don't talk them down.
-You can't get the achievement where you become the Viscount of Kirkwall.
-The templars still realize Meredith was a biotch and they stand down and let you leave afterwards.
-Mages view you as a hero and the Seeker at the end is saying you could help smooth things out with the mages cause they see you as Jesus 2.0.

This game was made to be bad so DA3 seems better.

I LOL'D.
When I first saw Fenris, I thought he was an Arcane Warrior. I still think he is.

Haha I wish man. I saw a friend playing an arcane warrior in DA:O and he was unstoppable.
I forgot to mention, when Anders comes back later you can re-recruit him into your party.
