It's time to dissect the image into 44 pieces like we always do, chiefs.

Here is an artificially lightened copy of the guards helmet :-

Image IPB

As you can see there are only 2 eye holes so that excludes the guard being a Batarian (I also believe the face is too "squat" for it to be a Batarian)

It would be cool if that were Kahlee Sanders from the books! :)

Khalee is blond, though.

That looks kinda like one of the blonde hair options. Maybe? =P Hehe, just a thought! :)

Agreed. Looks like retextured standard human enemy to me.

YES! I can wait to kill some Batarians, especially since my canon is ruthless!

Very exciting. Will be happy when I know a release date, it's getting to be hard work checking for news every 23 minutes.

Does look like its Amanda, but why lock her up? Experiments? Interrogation? Maybe something happened to the people who were saved from the collectors whilst in the tubes?

Maybe - but surely a Batarian soldier could get away with using a human's helmet right, I don't think they'd need all of their eyes to be able to see properly (if that makes sense) kind of like an arachnid so they see multiples of a single image.

Anywho - super stoked for this now, visual proof is all I needed to get stuck in to the hype, should be cool to see some more info this weekend at the Games Expo this coming weekend

The only thing we can tell from the screenshot is that the woman being held prisoner there is Dr. Amanda Kenson.

And we can only base that idea off of the fact that we know a Dr. Amanda Kenson is involved with this DLC and that one of the achievements rewards us for rescuing her without attracting any hostile attention.

Why are people saying that it's a batarian, who cares what race it is, if its hostile you kill it.

haha... it's funny that people are so hungry about new DLC already. only one screen shot. many people already talk about. amazing. that's why it is epic unlikely DA 2 garbage. Love ME 2 forever. soon we will find it out. by the way, March 18th. another game expo will take place in Europe. Ea officially said that they will announce more detail about ME 3.

Unless its a spoiler, can someone give me a quick explaination on who is this Dr. Amanda? Was she someone from ME 1 or 2 that I missed? Thanks.

Dr. Amanda Kenson is from the last Cerberus Daily News post:

01/24/2011 - Paper Suggests Mass Relays Predate Protheans

“Historians and astronomers alike are abuzz tonight over a new paper published by Dr. Amanda Kenson of the University of Arcturus. Her team claims that by testing the dust trapped in the gravity wells around a mass relay, and comparing its composition to that of dust clouds in the same system, scientists can create a timeline of when the relay passed through the dust. Her conclusion? "Only a small fraction of the mass effect relays date back 50,000 years," she writes, "The majority are far older, indicating they were created by a species predating even the Protheans." Dr. Aurana T'Meles of the University of Serrice met the information with skepticism: "While Dr. Kenson's methods appear sound, the asari tried a similar procedure centuries ago and discounted it. What civilization could have spanned the galaxy for not thousands, but millions of years? If this were the case, we should have found mountains of evidence of their passing. Where is this species now?"”
