Hell I though Flemeth was going to be the one behind the apostate revolution in Kirkwall or something, not just get resurected then not seen/heard of again. Hopefully DA3 will have more Flemeth because I really want to know what her plan is and what she is.
I was expecting Flemeth to play a bigger role

Technically she is the one behind it. Without her help Hawke never would have made it Kirkwall.
What I honestly didn't expect was Hawke and Merrill being the ones who resurrect her.

So was I... maybe BioWare is just preparing us for DA3, the events of DA2 will probably lead to something bigger.

I'm sure Flemeth will have a larger role in DAIII if it is made (Hopeful)
What I really want to know is what happens to Hawke and The Warden. at the end, Leliana mentions that she is looking for him, perhaps looking for an old ally and Cassandra is looking for Hawke. Idk how they will involve The Warden though, as he has no voice. And it has been like 12 years since Leliana saw him

Flemeth is the dragon that accompanies the logo on every single trailer and bit of DA2 info ever. I was bummed like you wouldn't believe when she popped out of that amulet, said some cryptic stuff, and flew off.
But, then again, I was apparently too dense to foresee that Origins wouldn't be her only appearance. So she'll be back--and with greater importance.

And by greater importance you mean two more minutes than she had in DA:II.Tatooine92 wrote...

they certainly made it out as though she was going to have a big role in DA2, though I wouldn't be too suprised if she ended up being a big support character kinda like theresa in Fable, a person with questionable motives who has a role in the backround of evry major event in the franchise.

She's the High Dragon you kill at the mines - sad story.

She had an army of daughters in one of the trailers. I suspect she was slated to have a bigger role, but it fell out for some reason. I further suspect that whatever the concept was it will become DLC.

Somehow I think that either she´s an Old God herself ("I might be a dragon, as she says in DA 2) or a maese from Tevinter, a very old one.

I suspect Flemeth will have a greater role in the next installment if not a major role. It's easy to believe she's been pulling the strings all along.

Yeah. She also metions to be part of something much bigger. Whatever she might be it has to do with Uthermiel. Merrill recited the song Leliana sings in DA:O while doing the ritual. I got this bit from the Dragon Age wki:
elder your time is come
now I am filled with sorrow
weary eyes need resting
heart has become grey and slow
in waking sleep is freedom
we sing, rejoice
we tell the tales
we laugh and cry
we love one more day
-- From "In Uthenera," traditional elven song of unknown origin.
Perhaps I'm just speculating, but yeah. Seems quite convinient.

Gosh, I freaking LOVE Flemeth. The VA is astonishing. Gives me the freaking chills every time Flemeth speaks in the game.

She was promoted alot, in artwork, etc. They really dropped the ball with Flemeth in Dragon Age II.

Maybe the whole idea behind Morrigan going with the Grey Warden was part of Flemeth's underhanded plan. The only way should become an even bigger force would be to absorb the Arch Demons soul in a ritual involving the child. Whether Morrigan was involved with it or not is unknown.
Morrigan could have been Flemeth's next sacrifice and together they came up with that plan. Maybe Flemeth, tricked Morrigan into letting het think she was "free". All in all, I definitely hope they expand on this story with Dragon Age 3: The Rise of Flemeth!

While I do believe Flemeth knew what Morrigan was going to do with the "OGB" - I don't think it was her plan. She says to Morrigan when you meet with her after she saves your Warden's life.
"May your child one day treat you the way you've treated me!"
Seems odd, because Morrigan doesn't seem like the "mom" type - yet here we have Flemeth stating it like prophecy.

I was disappointed with this too actually, but all I really wanted was a little more elaboration on Morrigan's words in Witch Hunt. Something big's going on with Flemeth. Especially considering the Warden and Hawke, who both have had interactions with her, have now both gone missing.
