I want my archer and my mage, to go stand up on a cliff.  I'm having trouble getting them up there and staying there without manually controlling them, selecting move to point..   then When i try to move the next one up the first one comes back down.

Secondly, there is a big cooldown on the heal spell of my mage.  Anyway to reduce this?  I would prefer a system where mana would stop her spamming heal, not cooldowns.

i would prefer if i wasn't forced to be a 2h warrior in nightmare... the combat system is screwed up compared to the first imo... but still good, don't get me wrong

there is a bug that will allow you to have heal on all your characters, left click and hold the skill (don't move it) and push F1 or whichever character you want to move it too... you can teach any non-passive skill this way (some skillls require certain equipment)

Hmm didn't answer my question really.

I am playing on 360, i want to know how to keep people fighting from a vantage point, and also if healing gets any better (without bugs or cheating).  At the moment it seems like one basic heal spell on a long cooldown that isn't enough on nightmare.

only way healing gets better is to have multiple healers and good use of potting

there is a hold button, you'll have to micro-manage them.

as far as nightmare goes, 1 heal + group heal is enough, your job is to try and avoid damage whenever possible.
