Sorry if this has been asked before, I didn't see this posted, and the search didn't bring anything up, so I thought I'd ask.  I'm considering getting Dragon Age, but I know I'll be getting Mass Effect 2 on Xbox 360, since I've got the first one on the console.  So my question is, if I pick up DAO on PC, does the Blood Dragon armor only work on the PC ME2?  Or could I use it on 360?

The Blood Dragon Armor is multi-platform. If you get DA:O for the PC and use ME2 for the Xbox, you can still get it on both.

I'm quite sure that the codes for such things are universal. So, you can buy DA:O on any console and use the armor for ME2 on any console. Check the Dragon Age community forums for the thread that says something like "preorder bonuses revealed".

The registered promotions page only shows that I have the Blood Dragon Armor for the PC version of DA:O and not for the PS3/360 versions. However, a developer post on the old forums said that one code would unlock the armor for all versions of the game. That's kinda weird! The DA:O and CC items are listed under all three versions!

It seems you'll have to enter the same code twice. Once for DA:O and once for ME2.

You might have to make a new character, (not sure). Check to see in your party camp if the seller there has it in his store.

Bioware have confirmed that all codes are platform specific, with the exception of the Blood Dragon Armor for ME2 (and the Dragon Age Journeys unlocks). No matter which platform you buy DAO on, you get a reservation for the ME2 Blood Dragon Armor for ALL platforms.

Check the PDF support manuals on the (right side of the) DLC page, or the platform specific DLC support threads in the Tech Support forums. And yes, for several of the DLC items you need to start a new game (exceptions are things like Warden's Keep and Stone Prisoner, I think).

Well, I got it from ordering off Amazon last Monday. Not entirely sure if it'll be in a Wal-Mart one but I don't see why it wouldn't be...

Yea because everyone is telling me its a preorder exclusive but the box at target and wal-mart says it comes with it. Well if not is there anyone nice enough and willing to let it go and let me have it lol.

Does this mean that if I download the armor for my DAO, what I did, it automatically unlocks the ME2's version? I sure hope so because I discarded the card after entering the code in Dragon Age.

I think there is another code on the same card, I can't remember it now though.

I'm guessing if you've already put in the code for the armor you just have to get ME2 and link it to your Bioware account. Don't worry if you don't have it in your unlocked content page yet. You'll probably get it when you get ME2.

Oh good lord people! This isn't that frackin' hard! I'm not a forum junkie and I knew the answers to all these questions by spending 2 minutes reading the website!



Blood Dragon Armor:

You get the code for buying a NEW version of the game. Not preorder, not used.

You claim the code for the console you bought it for and get it in that version of DA:O.

You get the armor in ANY version of ME2.

ONCE it is claimed, all new characters you start have the chest piece on them.

You buy the rest of the suit from the merchant in the party camp.

ok one more stupid question i got the code and now it keeps saying its an invalid code i have tried to enter it about 3 times thinking i entered it wrong but same invalid code every time.. plus am i entering it in the the downloadable content area is this the place to do it.

Just make sure you're not entering 0's instead of O's. Also, there are instructions on the code paper thing. Just follow those to the letter and you're good.

I updated my PC game version before redeeming my code for Dragon Armour, how do I get it to install? It says I need version 1.0. Do I need to reinstall back to version 1.0??

im having a problem when trying to get my armor i mean i have entered the code on this website and it says i have it but when i try to get it on my PS3 it doesnt show up....where do i get it from i tried entering the code at the downloadable content part but it says its invalid i did it a bunch of times to over a certain time but still doesnt work. can anyone help me out
