I got Merril, Verric, me (Aoe Mage) and Aveline. I am facing the mage who has turned into something that had a few to many trips to mcdonalds. I Was able to get the second form down to half health...but I just need to know, after that he is dead right? I imagine I could of continued well enough but I wasn't paying enough attention to Merril and she died.
Any tips on dealing with the archers as quickly as possible or avoiding the spells of the arcane horror?
Final boss, no healer...5 potions.

You should be able to blow up the arcane horror pretty quickly. I'd stagger him with pummel strike and use chain lightning for big combo damage.

Orisino? Not the last boss. (At least if you sided with the mages.)
And no, that's only the second phase. after you kill that he goes back to his first form at full hp.
Lock down the arcane horror with cc, and focus it down. they don't have much hp so as long as they don't have a chance to cast their gravity bomb, the arcane horrors should die in a few seconds.
While Orisino is in chubby form, you can use something such as horror to stun and interrupt the blood spell he casts to minimize on party damage.
If you're still having problems it may be worth it to reload and prepare a bit more, maybe respec hawke to a spirit healer and blow the rest of your cast on rejuv/armor/might potions and maybe a few fell grenades and the life leech poison.

You really couldn't spare 1 ability for a heal? Or healing aura?
Dispel works on the gravity bomb. He needs maybe 2 points in spirit healer for that fight max. You dont need to be a full spirit healer to provide for your group.
Taunt, petrify, stun, Varric's Goad all stop the blood drain he uses. Kill the undead he spawns as they appear. Maker's sigh is nice to have in your inventory for such occasions....

Killed Anders. He was my healer.
Also, thanks everyone was able to take him down. Meredith too which was a hell of a lot easier because I was able to stock up on potions thanks to the 'enchantment' guy. Was a cool fight to.
