During my first playthrough as a 2H warrior, I grabbed assail late game with cleave, been wondering if anyone else has noticed the insanity it can render

At first it seemed mediocre, but from what I could collect while going through the last 4 or so hours of the game, assail allows the player to knock back pretty much all but top tier enemies with a charge attack. 

Does the knockback effect only work on normal or is it also availible in nightmare?

If this works in nightmare, can it not be a game breaker for controlling the leaders/mages?

I havent picked it yet... its my next skill to pick after I level so I will have it tonight so I will be able to answer your nightmare question.
But I wouldn't be surprised if it works the same, because Cleave on Nightmare is ridiculously strong. I wouldn't be surprised if Assail is the same way.
