I have just started ME 1 and can find no explanation for the three sets of icons and numbers at the foot of the EQUIPMENT data page for Shepherd and his squad.  Although the manual and walkthrough explain what Resources are, they do not say what the icons or numbers refer to and why they are shown.   The answer is probably quite simple but clicking on the numbers does nothing.  Any explanation would be much appreciated  because it is bugging me not knowing!

From left to right you have: medigel packs, grenades, omni-gel, and cash/credits.
