I've just got thr mansion and completed that fade quest thingy... how far from completing the game am I (whichout spoliers plz) 

Am I looking at 2hrs - 3hrs play time?

Reason I'm asking is I have an itch to roll another toon, but want to get this playthrough sorted ...

Everyone's play through time is different. I've only just completed 1 playthrough and am surprised to hear that people have already beaten it twice. I must have really taken my time, then again I reloaded alot during boss battles and what not. If anything in this game will take up a lot of time, it's the boss battles.

The first play through, as a rogue, took me roughly three days.. but then I have kids and husbands and etc etc.

The second play through took me two, and that was on increased difficulty, as a mage (which is my favorite play through so far).. and with a bit less sleep >.>

I think I have played about 19 hrs so far and haven't even gotten to any of the Main Quest for act 2.....looking like it will take me to around hr 30 to begin act 3. Already I want to play through the whole game again as a Rogue and Warrior. Actually want to play as a Healer Mage as well. The only type of character I won't play as is a DW rogue as they are IMHO totally worthless. If you aren't an Archer as a rogue the GTFO of my party.

im about 20 hrs in and i just got done with the fade on my first playthrough

Took me around fifteen hours for act 1, ten hours for act 2 and 5 hours for act 3. Ended at 30~.

If you're in the Fade area, I believe that's act 2.

The Fade (Night Terrors quest) is in act 2 but you can do it really any time in that act so it's hard to say. 5hrs for Act3 is probably the average depending how much of a completionist you are so I'll take a rough guess and say you still have ~8hrs to go, give or take 3

My endgame file clocks out at over 49 hours, and I know for a fact that I missed Xebenkeck and the Ambrosia crafting resource, wherever those are. But otherwise I was pretty thorough.

There are three main "Acts" to the game, however. The second Act deals with the Qunari, the final Act is the one after you're officially dubbed Champion. Each act probably takes roughly the same amount of time to completely clear out, so you can be the judge of that if you've been paying attention. I don't think they take that long if you just barrel through, but I can't say exactly how long that would take.
