So, I bumped into Sten downtown today and decided to ask his opinions of all the questions and issues that get brought up on thse forums day after day, ovr and over again.  Below is our discussion:


Sloth:  Sten, I want to ask you some questions about Dragon Age.

Sten: I am hardly surprised.

Sloth:  Wouldn't it be great if DA was multiplayer?

Sten: No.

Sloth: Money and gear is pretty hard to find in the game, do you think this needs to be patched?

Sten: No.

Sloth:  A lot of people have issues with the games difficulty, either it is too easy or too hard.  Any thoughts?

Sten: I find it strange here, good players play on easy, bad players play on hard.  Nobody is content to be who they are.

Sloth:  Uhm..so you think....that the difficulty is fine the way it is, then?

Sten:  Yes.

Sloth:  Do you think the game needs some sort of option to let everyone see every number generated by the program so they can track damage better?

Sten:  No.

Sloth:  How about tooltips that display more information?

Sten:  A warrior does not need another to tell him how well he fights.

Sloth:  Erm, right.  Moving on then..do you think mages are 'overpowered?'

Sten:  Bah, Magic.

Sloth:  Morrigan or Leli?

Sten: Yes.

Sloth:  Wouldn't it be great if you could play the same character through the game multiple times?

Sten:  No man lives twice.  You ar born, you fight, you die.  that is life.  Asking for anything else is foolishness.

Sloth: Do DLCs cost too much?

Sten: Maybe.

Sloth: Care to elaborate?

Sten:  Care to give me a DLC that isn't released yet?

Sloth:  Oh.  Fair enough I guess....So what about respeccing?  Should that be in the game?

Sten: A person is born: qunari, or human, or elven, or dwarf. He doesn't
choose that. The size of his hands, whether he is clever or foolish,
the land he comes from, the color of his hair. These are beyond his
control. We do not choose, we simply are.

Sloth:  Any thoughts on the Dragon Age community as a whole?

Sten: You cannot define people in the manner of 'the elves are a lithe, pointy eared people who excel at poverty.'

Sloth:  Fair enough,  I suppose. I think that is enough for now.

Sten:  As you wish.

You are my hero. -bows- I`m not worthy. This was awesome. Finally to those who say Sten is almost as badass as chuck norris I remind you. Duncan is the ultimate bad ass he rock climbed and ogre with daggers. Also what about what he does to that dragon in the calling.

The fade exists because it is affraid to be on the same plane of existance as Duncan. Enough said.
