OK, there seems to be some confusion about Man-Giraffe-Dog on the forums, notably that it just looks like a Giraffe-Dog. Well... that's the POINT. Why do you think I'm the only one warning you. It's disguised as a Giraffe-Dog until it's ready to take over the world.
OK this is how Man-Giraffe-Dog came to be:

While growing up it was spotted in the wild (but the team was all killed by it and the photos were recovered afterwards)

After which it began its infiltration of humanity, disguised as Giraffe-Dog:

Which leaves us here. Man-Giraffe-Dog is poised to attack and destroy humanity and I'm trying to warn everyone before it's too late. This is totally serial guys. You need to prepare.

Excelsior!

Hopefully not.

I think this happens to alot of games. When ME2 was released, it was called a failure, now it's praised.

I'm not saying that DA2 is going to be praised or anything, but will most likely be viewed from a better light when people take a step back and begin to view the positives.

But I hear DA2 is selling well, which I'm not surprised, and it has gotten decently positive critical reviews. They will most likely make a DA3 - but I wouldn't count on an expansion so much, but who knows.

Hopefully they will just take the criticism well and take the game in a better direction. I liked that it was changing and progressing, I hope they don't regress because of the flack.

Pretty much THIS. Agreed. They should consider both the criticism and the praise and not be weighed down by what their supposed fanbase is doing here.

And here we are five weeks later.

I think that DA2 sold well enough to warrant a DA3. Selling over a million copies is nothing to sneeze at. However; considering how, as many on this post pointed out, DA2 was in the top ten for pre-order games ever, it is overwhelmingly apparent that its sales rested on the love that fans had for Origins. But what kind of game will DA3 be is the question that the execs at EA are going to have meetings over, because DA2 dropped off dramatically after two weeks. It barely sold over 50,000 in it's fifth week.

As far as dlc goes for DA2, Bioware should concentrate on patching up the Ultimate Edition that people paid big bucks for before they move on to the DA2 stories.
