After heading to the Antivan Camp and killing what I thought would be everyone, I spoke with Zev and to my surprise he gave me the same lines as when you first meet him in the cave. He then disappeared and I happened to find a lonely enemy archer out of my field of view. Now the quest remains open and I'm not able to finish it. Any way I could find to finish it? Or am I screwed out of a dagger for my rogue?

I can't even start the quest, the person who is supposed to be there for me to get it from doesn't exist.

Same thing happened to me. But since Zevran showed up later its alright except for the dagger loss.
