 Hey guys, kind of new here. I've been playing Dragon Age 2 (loving it) and so far I've logged 19 hours. I'm currently at the beggining of Act 2 (Arishok) and I've been completing side missions, not touching the main quests for now...

But... I seem to be missing a certain.. elf... named Fenris. Did I skip him? Or is he further along? Oh god, please no.

You get him during a side quest in Act 1.

During act 1 you´ll get a message about a dwarf looking to hire, nightime in lowtown. I remember a dev saying that if you miss the first opportunity to recruit someone youll get another shot, dont know how any of those works though.

The quest is called "Bait & Swtich" I believe

Accept the quest Bait & Switch by reading the letters at Gamlen's home.

OH! Yes! I remember that one. I skipped it because I was trying to maintain a good relationship with Aveline and she didn't approve of me accepting the quest. I didn't go any further.

Shoot, he looked really cool. Oh well. Looks like a job for the second playthrough.

I did the EXACT same thing lol - As soon as Aveline made her comment I turned down the mission, worrying about rivalling against Aveline.

Yep, I did the exact same thing too. I can't explain how disappointed I was when I found out later that this one tiny little decision prevented me from getting Fenris.

From the look of things, I might never get to use Fenris unless I do another playthrough...

Anyone know if there are any other shots at getting him now, like wollert mentioned in an above post? Don't wanna miss another chance!
