I have the same exact problem and did a printcreatures debug
and found nothing. I have the latest version.
I am peeved after waiting 8 hours to download and update all this
and this is my fav game to boot.
I have searched for monsters and talked to all and nothing.
I am afraid to start a new game simply because it may happen again LOL

It's right after you save the children in the house, then exit the house, the militia kill the dwarfs tho the Foster Father never shows up/his cut scene doesn't start, so you get stuck. Any ideas?? So no Daeghun appears/last wave doesn't start.
