im happily playing along on hard when i run into the fight with the templars after agreing to help the mages in a cave (act1) . I'mm fidning this very difficult.

its only difficult because of the crazy way this game spawns a group of people right next to you , its stupid . The fight can seem to be going very well , then boom!!!!! an assasin one shots me as he pops right next to me or 4 templars spawn next to me (ridiculous) and bash me round without me being able to have my go.

why the hell do they have these silly spawns? how the hell can 4 templars appear next to  you , why cant they appear from a distance away like in DAO and have to run to you?

So how do i kill these gits without going to 'normal'? . As i mentioned ive been cruising but then suddenly those bloody assasin one shot me . I tried pummeling down the main guy but that doesnt seem to work . Had much better failure wiping out his men and ignoring him , this seems the way to go but i just cant stop these crazy one shotting teleporting hard as nails assassins .

i have me a mage, merril , avaline  , isabella.

I had to get out of the middle.  The templar that helps you out will keep the boss tempalr busy.  So if you can focus all group power on a single target, whoever is closest.  Then move outta the middle to the edge.  Try to get the archers if possible.

When that hunter/assassin comes strolling in, you gotta take him out stat.  Ice, Stun. paralyize or whatevever before he vanishes.  He is the biggest threat imo.  Once he is out of the way it's pretty smooth from there. 

The templar that is helping you will take some aggro from the boss at times or keep leftover archers busy.  When you clear your area then drop full attention on the boss.


- You can attack the boss sooner if the hunter/assassin isn't around yet.

did it on my 4-5th go . I think you need a bit of luck with how much aggro thrask takes , i took your advice and retreated off to one side and focused the assassin , luckily when he re-appeared he went for my warrior . thanks . Was a satisfying victory.

Most of the fights they like to stick you right in the middle and then spawn enemies out of the air.  I always try to move out if I can.  Then drop some aoe at a bottleneck if possible.
