Maybe we play as Cassandra in Dragon Age 3 looking for Hawke/warden.

With Leliana at our side! We could like, hunt down all of the surviving companions and interrogate them, who then join us up later. In fact, the Varric investigation is part of dragon age 3!

I'd quite like that. However, that would defeat the purpose of creating your own character and stuff. Maybe at least someone under Cassandra's command or something, like her trusty assisstant.

I like the idea, but i dont think that being a follower would work. part of the game is to make the decisions yourself and not be a folower to someone else. maybe if we are a faction of seekers. you know what i mean. liek we go look right, cassandra looks left lolol:D

Now here's my thing, I heard that and imedieatly went, 'OH! That's right! Your Warden vanished at the end of Awakening!' But then thinking about it, I thought it's perfectly possible that by the Warden, she could have meant Anders. Can I have confirmation that she still makes the Warden comment if you kill Anders?

Well this is what I don't get. I had a female mage elf warden and she romanced Leliana, could not go through the Eluvian with Morrigan, so I would assume that Leliana and your Warden would be together even after 10 years had gone by. But according to the end of DA2 that's not true. I'd like to know what gives.

Finn, Leliana and Cassandra's conversation refers to your warden in DA:O. Not Anders what so ever. Anders either lives or dies by Hawke's decision in game.

I believe the lack of mention of you romance with Leliana is due to a bug that doesn't register the romance flag, kinda like with the Awakening Epilogue. And it isn't just Leliana but Zevran too. I don't about Alistair and Morrigan, of course there is little mention of Morrigan in general let alone any window for mentioning the romance. I don't know what is up with Bioware dropping the romance recognition in DA II. Even in the end cinematic with Varric's mention of Hawke's LI...

MCPOWill, yeah I'm wondering why they dropped that at the end. I mean yes, Varric states that whom ever your Hawke romances went with them and stayed with them. But when Cassandra and Leliana speak after Varric finishes his story, they say that your Warden disappeared. That as I said makes no sense, especially if you were playing a female warden that romanced Leliana. Your warden would have reason to stick around.

i think hawke and warden are going to team up (possibly with the god baby but he is probobly too young to ever fight with the warden) to stop either a war or major enemy that encompasses all the countries.

my thought is sandal might be some kind of villain to come bases on his ways. my theory is that there is some kind of old god that is resting in him from when he was lost in the deep roads. thats why eh is simple... as a cover perhaps.

never know... there is so much potential for DA3. tell me what u think

You bring up a good point with Sandal, he killed all  the Darkspawn in that area, no weapon, and Hawke with even left in the dark with it and not knoing how he did it, he gave Hawke a stone but I'am right with you, somthing is not right with Sandle, might me a old god in him, you never know..

On the Warden and Hawke teaming up, sound great and both voiced!

I think we can see the battle lines drawn in the sand...You have mages vs Templars.  Alistar is with the mages from my play, so is the Warden and Hawke, I would not dare to fight them one on one, or even think of taking them on as a team, thats insane.  Looks like our Leliana has turned on us that like mages, thats a good way for her to be a boss character in DA3, I hate it but she has picked sides. I can see use have to fight alot of  our own in the years to come.

Sandal is the maker. There can be no other explanation.

I'm sure Morrigan's child, who is male, will most likely end up being a companion in a later game...and, like his mother, LI  just...ya know, for women  but that's not the point!

Anyways, there is something definitely major with Hawke and the Warden suddenly gone  so fun ^_^

Unless the Warden and Hawke were taken unwillingly. Someone could be gathering some powerful people for something big and bad...

I'd die laughing if it was a mage doing the kidnapping

Both the Champion and the Warden had 1 thing in common and that is Sandal. During the last fight, Sandle was there too and I counted a Pride Demon, 2 Desire Demon and half dozen of abominations, there might be rage demons too because those dont leave corpses behind.

How did he again... killed all of them and now we know for sure that it is NOT enchantment.

No we'll play the OGB and see a showdown between Hawke and the Warden. Then we'll get to choose to either help one of them, or kill them both.

No, that won't happen. I mean with us being the OGB. Because the OGB is cannonicly male and there would be a lot of rage about being set as only playable as male and....uh...I don't think you can call him human but still

I was wondering this, too. Cassandra was probably looking for the Warden for the upcoming war she and Varric were talking of, and then went to find Hawke once they found out the Warden was gone. So... maybe the heroes are disappearing? Or they made a secret clan? lol I don't know. But I would really like some insights on this topic.

though the grey warden you meet in the middle of the battle in before you become champion he said and i sort of quote

'Sorry I wish I could, but Grey Warden's cannot become involved in political matters'

so even if the chantry found the grey warden I doubt he/she would help due to Grey Warden's only meant to fight the blight and darkspawn.

I do hope they continue the hawke story though feels abit like they ended wrong and i from what I can tell the Origins characters do not look right now on the new one so it would be best that they maintained hawke or found a new character.

Maybe it's a new blight lead by Flemeth, Morrigan's mother? Everything changed after Morrigan read Flemeth's Grimiore. So what evers going on Flemeth knew about it before anyone.

I don't think Sandal will be evil. He's special, with a special gift. His "specialness" is somewhat like autism imo, but with magic, creating runes. I predict he'll be in the rest of the sequels in the same way he was in part one and two.

As for Leliana turning on mages. I think you're misreading the situation, or perhaps you played your game different than you did. On my first completion I was a female mage, hence an apostate, but I tried to stay as neutral as possible, only turning against Meredith (was that her name) at the end when I had no choice. In the end scene for me, the seeker believed I was a hero and that Meredith was at the core of the problems. I don't think the Divine sent Leliana to pick sides, just to get to the bottom of the situation. Leliana, and therefore The Divine, might believe otherwise, but they have the seekers book, my version of the story.

I'm curious to finish this second run through but I really don't think it'll be much different.

I killed Anders and she still made the Warden comment. It does not refer to Anders.

I think something got out of the deep roads when Hawke and co. went in there. There was the expedition with Nathaniel ordered by the Warden himself, afterall, to retrace their steps. Wardens wouldn't do that unless it was something darkspawn that got released. Don't think they meant the idol, either.

I do think that there will be a Hawke/Warden combo story at some point. I hope it gives the choice at the start to support the mages or the templars and have a dual-story arc going. There's also the God Child to consider...it would be around 7 or so at the end of DAII since Varric mentions "over the next few months we left Hawke's side for various reasons".

We know that the Divine is looking for both the Warden and Hawke, both are gone and they can't seem to find them. I don't think anyone could kidnap them. I think that both went into the mirros that both of their betterhalfs had. I don't know that for sure but it would give a good reason for both of them being gone.

The world is a big place and alot of places to get lost in, I also would not dought that both are in hiding and will show up to help when the time is right.

At this point, they both will meet each other, the writing is on the wall for that.

I think Varric knows where both are and is trying to keep them safe for now.

Yea, it would be funny as hell........Morrigan kidaped the Warden and Merrill kidnaped  Hawke.

They are both now just sex slaves beyond the fade and I could see Flemeth and her laugh, MOAHAHA.

You know the Warden went down there  to the deep roads, on a DLC you could get for DAOs and there was somthing down there and it was bad, and that idol has somthing to do with it. Look what that idol did to Varric's brother and what it did to Meredith, it's not good and....it's topside now. I think the idol was put down there for a reason and that was to keep it away from people.
