Everyone's picking apart DA2, walls of text listing dozens of complaints. Focus it. Narrow it down to just one, big, glaring issue that you can't ignore.
For me, it was the recycled maps.
What's the single biggest issue you had with DA2?

The number 2 after the dragon age name.

I loved the game, but I had one issue. The glowing eyes for Ander's and such were not in their eye sockets....sometimes the glowing eyes would move down towards their chest.

Maps are quite high, but my biggest issue is that it's damn difficult to target the enemy I want to target sometimes.

Yep it doesn't deserve that name. It should be an expansion pack named like this: Dragon Age: Champion of Kirkwall or somthing.

Mooks teleporting in from the fade.

My biggest gripe... probably the over the top combat animations and exploding enemies. The reused maps are a close second though.

The lack of moving the camera on the PC makes it difficult to queue abilities with a lack of line of sight.

Of any shortcommings it had the one that pushed me over the edge itno downright disliking it was the complete lack of ending.
I play RPG games for a nice big storyline to get stuck into. Whats the point when they dont give it any kind of closure at all?
Im from the age of gaming where sequels were EARNT on merit of the previous game, not decided BEFORE the current game is even finished!
All this was is a verrry expensive trailer for Dragon Age 3, and every time I think of that it irritates me.

The fans.
No, but be serious spiders. This game made me arachnophobia. Also the health on some enemies. Why do archers and rogues have more health/defence than a warrior in full plate?

*Weak story*
*The combat system*
*Removal of skills and other elements*
*Lack of communication with companions*
* The recycled locations*
All in my opinion of course.

Waves of enemies. To me it kind of spoils the idea of fighting tactically. Sure, the first 10 guys in the area require some strategy but once their 10 friends zip line down from the rooftops it just becomes a game of knocking them down as they line up.
Above all else, it happens far too often. Every fight runs the same course, you take down the initial mooks then unleash your room clearing aoe spells. Rinse and repeat ad nauseam.
Don't get me wrong though, it gets under my skin but I am enjoying the game.

The Waves of enemies that come out of Flemeth's ****** is what I hate the most...other than that, it's a good game.

equipment restrictions, which would encompass not being able to change npc armor and class limitations on what you can wield/wear.

The ending, and overall story cohesion. I loved the game, and I thought the companions and dialogue was the best of any bioware game, but the overall plot needed to be tied together better, and the lack of closure made me sad. That was where rushing the game really hurt it.
I did like the game overall though. 8.5/10

Tie between reused maps and poor options for the 'choices' you make. Among other things...

Reused maps. I could of easily over-looked the other minor flaws but half the game was spent in the same cave map.
Every fight being in waves is a close second.

The stripping down of role-play elements like gear, crafting and party customization and the lack of detail and immersion.
Simply put, my biggest problem is: they rushed it... rushed it horribly.

Reused of areas.
No tactical view camera.
Dialog system.
Inability to fully customize companions' equipments.

Reused map was the biggest issue then close second would be the lack of enemy diversity.

Maps are high, but that alone didn't sink the game for me, nor did the art style or combat.
The story was the biggest disappointment I had, it felt poorly executed and rushed.

Reused maps/Lack of original maps.
Kind of the same thing, so I will lump them together.
Nothing even close to a map as awe inspiring as the ruined Shrine of Andraste's Ashes.
I am tempted to be mean, and say that there wasn't even a map as good as Lothering.
