Hey guys, i just downloaded pyGFF because i wanted to edit the Staff of Partharlan to increase its level to 24. I opened my save game, went to SAVEGAME_PLAYERCHAR > SAVEGAME_PLAYERCHAR_CHAR > SAVEGAME_EQUIPMENT_ITEMS > 0 (this is the Staff item).
Now i went to change the item level from 11 to 24. My savegame was named outside_lothering.das so i go to Save As outside-lothering.das then click save. But now when i load DA2 nothing changes. I even tried this tutorial www.thenexusforums.com/index.php exactly as it says but the same thing happens. Am i saving the files wrong or something?

You need to press save on the bottom left hand corner everytime you change something.

Once you are done just save as as a seperate file. The file you open are locked from saving.
You have to save as a different name. Then go back and replace it manually.

That is not accurate. With pyGFF you can save as the file you are currently altering. I do it all the time.

Ok i found out what was wrong and feel like an idiot now. The changes i made where being saved and done properly to my save, except when i load DA2 and hit resume it was resuming the auto-save and not the save i was fiddling with.
