I just started act two and am at 100% friendship with Isabella. I don't have either gift as of yet but questioning beliefs has opened up. If I do questioning beliefs with her now without any gifts is romancing her over. Or can I do the quest now and give her stuff later? Just wondering if I can start it now becasue cant get the 2nd gift until 3rd act.

there are questioning beliefs for both act II and III if I remember correctly, with the latter one being the really important one for romance.

I think your good as long as you get both gifts to her before the Questioning Beliefs quest in Act 3.

That's so not true.
I only gifted her once and didn't know about the second gift but my Hawke ended up with her anyway.
