is it possible to add items to your inventory by using the console command?

No the console doesn't support that action, there was a mod for origins which added that feature so its possible it could be ported to DAII but that is unlikely until the toolset is available. In addition, until there is a mod to make the console visible, any additem system would be a nightmare to even use.
