Where is Nathanial Howe in DA II? I played through the entire game and never ran into him in my travels.

His sister sends you to look for him in the Deep Roads later in the game. I think it is in Act 3. I don't know if there are any particular requirements you must meet other than running around Kirkwall to find Delilah.

Could be you had the same bug I did. Nathaniel survived in my Awakening playthrough, but was nowhere to be seen. If you get the quest to save a dwarf's three sons in the Deep Roads, then you're blocked from finding Nathaniel. The two quests are mutually exclusive for some reason.

it is a side quest you get from his sister delilah howe. i didnt get to that partin the game but that is what i read. i think you need to have uploaded a save game when you saved him in awakenings. i think she is in the hightown market

If you received Fool's Gold, as the above poster mentioned, you can't do Nathaniel's quest. Check your quest log, that may be the problem.

Huh, well Nathanial definitely survived my Awakening playthrough and them some,<Sigh> I think its another bug, the one that HarlequinKing was talking about. Ya know I would really appreciate it if Bioware would polish there games like they used too. DA2 is starting to reach up there with Awakening on the bug scale. Well hopefully they have a patch soon that'll fix all these quests and romance flag acknowledgments soon.
