Everyone was with me, except Anders, who backstabbed me and I him.
Fenris fought with me alongside the mages because they romanced, and then they had a foul make-out session in front of everyone.
I took Varric, Fenris and Bethany with me to fight Meredith.
I was rivals with Merrill and never took Isabella with me to anywhere because she was pathetic.

I kept everyone but Anders. He met the fate of the dreaded Murder Knife.

I still had Isabela at the end.

Sided with the Templars and my main party consisted of: Mage Hawke, Merrill, Varric and Aveline.

Everybody except Sebastard, because I refuse to download unless it's free (game was lackluster compared to DAO, won't pay for content that should already be there.) Isabela LI, Fenris stuck around which was a surprise and I told Anders to run. Grey Warden Carver showed up to save my hide when I sided with the mages..

Sebastian left me and swore revenge against my by coming to kill me with an army, because I didn't kill Anders.
I decided to let my good old pal Anders live and let that annoying know-it-all Prince, who's clearly is some midlife crisis, give it his best shot.

Fenris left me because I decided to side with the mages, when he finally came back I was so fed up and annoyed with his constant anti-mage mumbo jumbo throughout the entire game that he had to die!

The rest was still with me and I took off with Isabela on a boat, ON A BOAT!!

First runthough my rogue M!Hawke ended up with Anders. Everyone stayed with the exception of Sebastian (gee, big surprise!)

I'm halfway through my second run and I'm expecting a lot more people to bolt this time around. I'm trying a mage M!Hawke who sides with the templars, so Merrill will go. Anders will be executed. No Bethany here - Carver joined the Grey Wardens. Mage Hawke will be ending with Isabela.

I absolutely love how this will end - by siding with Meredith my mage will be the new Vicount of Kirkwall. Maybe I should take the Blood Mage spec to make the irony complete.

I played a mage and sided with the mages. Romanced Anders so I ... kept him with me but we did not walk into the sunset. I couldn't trust him anymore despite loving the ass.

Everyone else was with me except Seb who left when I let Anders live. In face I was surprised that so many people said Isabella left in Act 2. She came back in my game and actually she got a lot more fun in Act 3. When she got access to a ship, she mentioned me and Anders (lovers) joining her for fun on the open seas and being her best friend.

Of course Anders the ass (that's what I call him now) buried all those nice dreams by being an ass. Damn him.
Oh and both Bethany, Carver and Mother died.  Really, after Ander's dick move, there really was no reason to stay on in Kirkwall.

Played a mage, romanced Fenris, who stayed with me, despite me siding with the mages. Everyone else survived too, except Anders, the peer pressure was too high to let him live and i was really mad and sad at the same time.

My first run Isabela left with the relic, Carver joined the Templars, and Sebastian left at the end threatening war against Hawke. I kept Anders because lets face it...that was a freaking awesome explosion. Apart from that I still had Merrill as she was my LI, Aveline because shes awesome, Fenris, and obviously Varric.

This run I think I'm just going to stock up on potions and let the Templars have Anders, and Bela is my LI so she won't leave. Think I'm good enough friends with Merrill that she won't leave no matter what.

Next time I might sell Fenris back to the slavers, that could be interesting.

I lost Isabela to greed and cowardliness and Anders to the murder knife. Carver came home to sister like a good boy. Everyone else loved my Hawke like a sister (okay, fine, Aveline said she'd stick it out even though she didn't like it and Merrill was easily convinced to stay. But Fenris and Sebastian loved her.).

@R-F I agree - a bloody good explosion. But if Anders really wanted to martyr himself, he should have stay inside the Chantry. Get a nice close up view, as it were ;-)

I was pro-mage, so I ended up with Anders, Aveline, Varric, and Merrill, which really sucked because who I'd been playing with the whole time was Anders, Sebastian, and Fenris, and Sebastian and Fenris fricking WALKED OUT ON ME.

Is there any way to take the mage's side and still keep them? I was never able to make either one much of a friend or rival (still getting used to the system) so I wondered if they stuck around if you pushed them further on one or the other scale.

....P.S. How did you end up with Isabella at the end? Chick bailed on me in Act 2.

Fenris chose poorly. He wound up decorating Marian's sword in the courtyard of Templar headquarters. Anders fell to The Jory 2.0 (as I've dubbed Hawke's murder knife); while I'm sympathetic to his cause and sided with the mages, what he did was unforgivable. 

Everybody else stayed or at least came back after an absence. Final party was Bethany (who, as a Warden in my game, I'm now shipping with Nathaniel), Merrill, and Varric. Between two maxed-out Apocalyptic Firestorms, Rain of Arrows, and the incredible killing power of a 2H/Vanguard combo, health bars were simply melting away.

EDIT: Oh, and it says Isabela stayed with Hawke at the end, but we all know by now the bugginess of that. In reality it should be Merrill.

Isabela took off, that wenchy wench. Merril was my LI, Fenris was my rival. He nearly bailed, but I got him to stick around. I took him in my final team. Anders just had to go. And by go I mean, you know die. Terrorist summuma****. So my final team as a shield warrior Hawke consisted of Beth, Fenris, and Merril. Aveline was pissed that I didn't pick her for my squad because we were busom buddies by then, but she got over it. Sebastian also stuck around since I put that dick Anders down.

On my first playthrough I was a mage, siding with the mages, and my actual party was Aveline, Varric and Anders, (who I didn't shank because he was my love interest, bah...) but Merrill and Fenris fought alongside us while fighting Orsino, and Fenris was still around when we fought Meredith. Not sure what happened to Merrill by that point.

Fenris, Aveline and Varric were my ending party.

Bethany died in the Deep Roads, Isabela ran off with the artifact (and my character very much wanted to hunt her down and kill her for it), and Anders was knifed for his crimes and because I was siding against the mages (unfortunately, he was my healer).

The last I saw of Sebastian he seemed to be lying dead on the ground, but I don't know if he was actually dead or not. I never saw Merrill again after giving her orders. I assume Aveline got back up after the fight (though she hadn't yet when the last animation kicked in, so there's some doubt). The only people I can really prove survived were Varric (obviously) and Fenris, because he was mentioned as not going his seperate way. Honestly, I assume none of them died, but it would be kind of interesting if they actually did.

So wait, I sided with the mages and Fenris was still by my side, is this because he was full rival?

I sided with the mages, I had everybody still with me and doing fine except for Fenris who betrayed.

My team was Isabela, Aveline, and Anders, with Bethany and Varric providing assistance. Isabela and Hawke are on a pirate ship somewhere, getting into jolly sexy adventure I'd imagine!

I've got everyone and everyone stays when I sided with mages. Sebastian left bcs I refuse kill Anders. I don't care much about him.
Isabela left with the relic , but got back big style, so she is the best buddy of me (no romance at all, but I like her lines a lot:)))) Especialy her friendly banter with Fenris:))) Even so she proposed me the boat trip and stays till the end. I liked her last talk:)))

Fenris is a really good gay if you came to get him to 100% friendship ( it is quite easy). I've got all on 100% friendship ( in act 2), but Merril (100% rival). If you got that, they all go along quite well in act 3.

Fenris and Isabela are best charcters in the game in my opinion. It is just hard start. The later the better:))))

How did you lose Fenris? I mean if you don't reach rivalry or friendship when you side with the mages you can convince him something about how the Circle and slavery are related.

I had everybody...and yes I kept Anders alive during a playthrough. That was my revolutionist mage. Anders and I ran off together.

i only had varric, merill, bethany and avaline. I didn't pick up isabella. so yeah not much choice for a good team on hard
