Sided with mages, spared Anders.

Isabela left with the Qunari relic at the end of Act 2, good riddance.

Sebastian started threatening me with an army. Told him to bring it. LOL.

Fenris sided against me at end game. I electrocuted him. Literally. It was enjoyable in a very disturbing way.

Had Merrill and Aveline as back up. Varric, Anders and Warden-Carver in my group. Ran off with Anders in the end. Oh and Zevran gave me a hand in end fight. Had to rub my eyes a couple of times to believe it.

I kept everyone but Sebastian....

Sided with the mages

Main party: Varric, Isabela, Merrill

Support: Carver, Anders, Fenris(got him with the "I never thought you'd support slavery") Aveline.

I let Anders go which also caused Sebastian to leave whilst threatening to send Starkhaven at me.

Apart from that...Everyone present and accounted for.

Isabella, Varric and Bethany made up my final party.

Everyone supported me in the end, save Anders.

The knife in his back probably had something to do with it.

Varric, Anders (DON'T JUDGE ME), Merrill, and Aveline.
;-;
Isabela left ages ago, Sebastian threw a temper tantrum after I didn't kill Anders, Bethany died, and Fenris sided with the Templars so I had to kill him later (I'd been see-sawing on the friend/rival spectrum with him so...)

Just finished my 2nd runthrough - played a M!Hawke mage who sided with templars. Shanked Anders when he admitted his betrayal. Thought Merrill was going to bolt when I chose templar side but since friendship was maxed I got her to stay by saying Anders' actions left me no choice. Got to fight final battles with Carver after he returned (made him a Grey Warden). Ended up with Isabela at the end.

It was a bit offsetting to play a mage that sides with the templars but in an earlier post I said I just wanted to enjoy the irony of a mage becoming the new Viscount of Kirkwall...and yes, how he got there was very evil. I'm so ashamed. };-)

For 3rd runthrough will be trying a F!Hawke warrior who romances Sebastian and chooses the templars. Should be interesting...

Same here, on all playthroughs so far.  But I've only finished the game twice, both times with a mage F!Hawke, and I couldn't bring myself to side with Meredith.

Isabella ran off with the book and never came back. Never had Sebastian. Fenris switched sides before the fighting started and joined me when I pointed out that he hated all forms of slavery. Bethany was in the mage tower and became playable finally. Anders was alive but I told him to go away - but he showed up at the end.

I was a rogue. Used Merril, Bethany and Aveline as my main team for the end.

I sided with the mages so Fenris left which was a real bummer because me and him just rape crowds. Isabella left with the relic for her own selfish or unknown reasons. As did Sebastian because I let Anders live. I really think what Anders did was right because i thought it was about time that a mage stepped in and actually did something.

My final party obviously had Aveline, Varric, and Anders. Merrill just tags along and wasn't really effective. Anders, though, was really effective. Both us had AoE spells so everytime there's a large crowd of enemies I would cast Pull of the Abyss then Cone of Cold, Firestorm, Tempest, and Hail of Arrows. DONE!

I sided with the mages and everyone stayed with me, except Anders, who I told to leave since I couldn't quite bring myself to whack him with the murder knife.

Merril and Fenris were my only rivalries, but luckily Merril agreed with my decision, and Fenris was too besotted to fight me.

I love that my brother and the other templars chose to side with me too (I've only played through once, maybe they always do that, I don't know). It was extremely satisfying to have them all with me at the end.

Sided with the mages because siding with the templars was substantially and disquietingly unsatisfying. It was painful to see how Meredith refuses to come to an agreement with Orsino when he gives her a final warning to not exacerbate the situation any longer. Instead, she instigates it and adds more fuel to the fire by brushing it off in addition to commanding him to gather his mages. If anything, the templar side only serves to drive her lunacy further rather than provide a sympathetic perspective of the templars' views. The only good thing I could remember was Cullen's expanded role.

In the end, I spared Anders because he deserves to witness the inevitable backlash against his people and endure the guilt for the rest of his life while Isabela is still the only one who left my party indefinitely. It seems that I can never get her friendship points high enough.

Isabela left, and good riddance. Appalled that all she wanted was her relic, even in the face of a possible war.

Sebastian left after I decided that Anders should atone by fighting with the rest of the team. I thought Sebastian really showed his true colours in his "leaving" scene.

I ended up with Isabela, Merrill, Aveline, Varric and Fenris.

When I sided with the mages fenris left me for a while, but in the final face off against Meredith he came back due to our friendship.

I made Anders go away because of what he did. I had to do this two times because he tried to come back when we were in the room whith Orsino trying to hold off the templars.

My brother had died in the deep roads. Still looking for a way to keep him alive there (how can I make him become a warden??).

Never had sebastian because I'm not buying any DLC content for this game and I didn't preorder.

Everyone was with me... well, except for Anders. But he's dead, so it doesn't count.

My second play through ended with everyone but Sebastian and I didn't give a hoot about him. I did not kill Anders either play through because I happen to agree with him.

My first game I had Merrill, Sebastian, *Templar* Carver, Aveline and Varric.  Anders I murder knifed, Isabella absconded with the book, and I never did Bait and Switch in Act 1 so missed getting Fenris.  I sided with the Mages and everyone in the core group fought that bonehead Orsino along with Merrill taking pot shots at him from the side.
Outside it was Cullen, Carver, Sebastian, Aveline and Varric (with my mage Hawke) and as the battle went on, Natheniel, Zevran and Donnic joined at regular intervals.  I think normally you only get 8 but i remember seeing Donnic as well, so either it was bugged or he joins because of Aveline.  He was the last one on scene anyway.

Bring Anders with you (to the Deep Roads).  He will help your brother\\sister become a Grey Warden

Mage - sided with mages stayed with Fenris

Warrior - (when the bug is fixed) sided with templars stayed with Anders (at the moment it's sided with mages though).
