I think we've gotten different dialogue to be honest. Perhaps the fact mine said the Architect was dangerous is why I didn't get reference to the Warden-Commander? Still, an odd comment, because if Nate is saying the Architect is dangerous - as in, in the present tense - that means he lives...yet he only lives if I ally with him but Nate doesn't refer to him as an ally? Wtf.

Yeah, this part was a bit off I think...

I got that part in addition to the allies comment. I'd have to do another playthrough to recall what prompted it though.

Weird because I'm sure I chose every dialogue option available....

Hearing that my warden may still be kicking around didn't bother me as much as hearing the arcatech may not be dead. The save I used for import and the synopsis said my warden had killed him and Nate said otherwise. I just figured he hadn't yet gone after Morigan yet.

Alistair still refers to the "Hero of Ferelden" being back in Denerim.

Maybe he came back.

Going through a magical portal with Morrigan doesn't have to be forever.

Also I think I heard something about Witch Hunt not autosaving properly at the end of the DLC. So it probably doesn't know you chose to go with Morrigan.

It's not the lack of an autosave . . .that was fixed.

It's that DA2 does not read any plot flags from WH.  Or from GoA (if it has any).

Nothing in WH affects anything in DA2, because DA2 does not read those flags.

Why couldn't the Warden just have come back by the time that comment is made? I'd assume him and Morrigan were going to return at some point... and if it's in year 7, that's almost four years after Witch Hunt.

I get the distinct feeling that maybe with the ominous threat of Orlais looming over Ferelden that mentioning "Oh the guy/gal who raised an army and faced the Archdemon head on is coming back to our capital city where, ya know, we control our armies and keep in touch with our various powerful allies. Yeah, they're coming to stay and be awesome."

Its like a Beware of Dog sign whether or not their is a Dog in the yard.

I support a retcon which has Witch Hunt take place in year 8 or 9 of DA2. We only have Gaider's word that it took place a year after anyway, nothing in game, and it would fit the timeline with Alistair's commentary. They blew it by not putting in flags for it, but I wouldn't mind a handwave in this case, as there isnt anything in-game which confirms Witch Hunt's timeline.

to be fair, they say the warden should be back, the warden rules ameranthing. (sorry is i misspelled that) what was most likely meant by this is that they are do back in court in the capital. they my make the trip back there only once or twice every two or 3 year's to report how things are there or to vote in a lands meet or if a war is about ready to go down. with out more info on how they run there court there is relay no way to tell how often the nobles meet for it.

Dude, I've beaten the game once. I used the import of my first character of Origins who died and never got brought into Awakenings. I saved this character specifically in case DA2 had a ME like import.

My dead dwarf Warden still got Lil saying that he disappeared and it couldn't be a coincidence.

....couldn't be a coincidence that a 10 year dead dwarf is not around? What? Is there a grave robber?

Might be not a coincidence that the only two people in Thedas who could deal with the upcoming problems are both dead/gone.  I mean, I'm stretching, but it's possible that's what is meant.:?

I know that tecnecally the game doesn't track witch hunt but with that said... Is it ever said how long after the events in Origins that Witch hunt takes place? I assume it's at least 9 months as the Baby is born by that point but I don't remember any specific time mentioned. (I could have missed it)

So it's entirely possible that people in Kirkwall are not yet aware that the Warden commander has slipped into the mirror of bliss with his little witchy love since that particular development occurred after they left. (Maybe?)

I'm inclined to believe that most of this is the result of glitches and bugs. The part about the Architect being alive no matter what is a confirmed bug that's being "investigated." It stands to reason that there were other such glitches... I'm pretty sure that Bioware has a sticky in the Technical forum where you can post about import glitches...

Hmm...I haven't seen my brother in a couple of days and Ghandi's dead.....this can't be a coincidence.

This, I can't remember if Nate said First Warden or Warden Commander because I was too annoyed by Nate telling me that my Warden had let the Architect live when he didn't, but thankfully thats just a import bug and they didn't decide to make it cannon.

As for the Warden, I thought it was odd that he was "due back" when he had run away with Morrigan but I thought that might have been a mix up of timelines on my end (kinda wish someone at BioWare would just give a clear timeline of when Origins, Awakening, Golems and Witch Hunt happens), but turns out its because DA2 doesn't pick up on Witch Hunt import info, which will hopefully be changed at one point or anther...............

The ending cinematic with Leliana saying Warden is gone is pre-rendered. Meaning it's the same no matter what you import: dead Leliana, King/Queen Warden, dead Warden, or Warden romancing Leliana happily ever after. Nothing changes.

I'm suprised none of you considered the possibility that the line "He is gone, and so is the warden, it can't be a coincidence" (paraphrased) might mean she is talking about Hawke AND Anders. Afterall, Anders was a Warden, a friend of Hawke's (cant be a coincidence!) and probably still wanted in some regard or other by the chantry for his part in it (POSSIBLE SPOILER**: but to be fair my play through had anders nuking the chantry)

There is no Orlesian Warden in my playthroughs. For once because I romanced Morrigan, and also because I don't see the point in letting the Warden die. It's not that anything bad comes from the 'Dark Ritual'.

It seems the quasi-cannon version that the warden commander and the hero of Ferelden are 2 separate things.

I highly doubt that.
