So I've been using the toolset for almost 2 years now and this is the first I've ever run into this bug. I'm not quite sure what caused it but now when ever I open any module or start a new mod all 7 of the day/night stages under the area proporties say Sunrise, and changes I make only seem to effect the sunrise setting. Existing areas work fine, but whenever I create a new area this problem occurs. I whould rather not have to re-install if I can help does anyone know what might cause a problem like ths?

You're not the only one this has happened to. How are you creating a new area, right clicking in the area list window, or File/New/Area? I believe the recommended way is right clicking in the area list window.
Once you've created the area, if all the stages are still listed as Sunrise, just save the area, close it out and reopen it. The stages should be named properly. I have heard of no problems with areas due to this.
It's been awhile since I saw this problem on the boards, but I seem to recall this was a solution.

You where absolutely right I saved and closed the area, re-opened it and now the settings are back to normal. It occures to that normaly when I make lighting changes it's after I've been working on the area for several days, so it may be this problem was always there and I just never noticed it. Thank you for responding so quickly.
