All three religions, Chantry, Tevinter and Dalish, tell a similar story, of powerful beings (Fade spirits, Old Gods, Creators) being locked away by another deity. I'd say Flemeth IS that deity - she is Fen'harel, the Maker, AND a Tevinter Old God, and each groups view of the story has turned into a slightly different mythology. The truth is probably a fourth tale that will not directly contradict any of the others, but will add something new that ties them all together - and that Flemeth is at the heart of it all.

  What about the Qun?!:police:

Then Sandal. Hah. Oh dear. Sandal. Bodahn fails to mention if they found dead darkspawn when they found Sandal. Then he's hanging round Fort Drakon with a bunch of dead darkspawn all around when the Warden and co. pass through. In the Deep Roads during DA 2, there's that frozen ogre. Then there's a bunch more dead stuff and a dead Pride Demon towards the end game, all where Sandal's hanging out. Sandal's an anomaly with a knack for tagging along with 'significant' people. I assumed the dead darkspawn in Origins were just for a laugh, but it just keeps on going in DA 2, so I've revised that particular opinion some. No clue what Sandal really is, though. Why did he not just waste the darkspawn attacking him and Bodahn on the highway near Lothering? Actually, not even going to speculate on that.

Wasn't Bodahn and Sandal going to Orlais at the end of DA2? :innocent:

Lol. I just replayed this part and started thinking, Hmm, wonder where DA3's going to be?

On topic: I too think there's a connection between Flemeth and Fen'harel. Just because they don't call her by that name doesn't make it untrue. The Dalish have forgotten much. They may have forgotten what she really is. And this is a story that keeps coming back to us. I think she's definitely more than just a dragon (too obvious), but I suppose the truth will be revealed in time.

Hmm.
The Chantry say that Maker banishes the old gods to their underworld prison.

Is Maker that Dread Wolf?

Are the Elven of old made up the story about the Dread Wolf to demonize The Maker that is worshipped by Humans who they mostly hate?

Is Andraste an abomination who are under possesion of The Dread Wolf ?

If Flemeth is the Dread Wolf, why would he help the Warden?

Is an Archdemon one of the Old God who got possesed by the demons of the fade loose on the world because of the Tevinter Mages tinkering with blood (tinkering with Golden City, the seat of Life) and able to have controls of the fade thus corrupting Life with their sins and force the Maker to channel that corruption somewhere least of all the fade ceased to exists and free will destroyed ?

Does Flemeth save The Warden because she doesn't want to mess with the Being who she imprisoned years ago or fear their taints ?

Who Is The Stone?

So many questions. We need novels. Volumes of them :)

Best cliff hanger ever would be at the end of DA3 where the armies of the Mages, Templars, Qun, etc. are preparing to fight then all of a sudden a hooded figure with a staff and Tome of sorts appears in the middle of the battlefield, All the armies stop to watch the figure. The hooded figure quickly removes his hood revealing himself to be Sandal who goes ENCHANTMENTPosted Image as the game game ends in a flash of white. LOL

Its clear he is a prophet of sorts.

It's not really a religion. And there are implications that they aren't even native to the world that Thedas is set in if you picked up a few codex entries.

Whether or not it is a religion is somewhat debateable as we don't know enough about them yet, and they do have a priesthood of sorts, although labeling them priests might be a translation mistake. The title Ariqun representing the soul of the Qunari is highly suggestive though.

Here is an idea - what if the reason that Flemeth knew the OGB ritual in the 1st place was because she herself was born through the same way.....  one of the old gods from a previous Blight, believed to be dead, was really transfered into a child - that child being Flemeth., just like the warden and Morrigan did !         This could make sense right ?  :o
