I know of course you cant if your a mage which was my first playthrough as Lady Hawke Mage.
But now I just beat Qunari as a Female Rogue and sided with the Templars all the way through and Im still not the Viscount.
Varric said again that Meredith took control.
How do you become Viscount and get the Crowning Glory achievment?
Ive heard its only once you beat the game but then what would the point of that be if Hawke dissappears like the Warden again?
How do you become Viscount? Is it only for Males?

You don't become viscount until the Varric epilogue narration, if that's what you mean. It doesn't happen during the playable time of the game.

no you still disappear, you become viscount for a short time then you vanish. cassandra said but he is not in kirkwall anymore. then varric said is funny how your fortune changes.
my hawke became viscount and merril stayed by his side because they loved each other.

You don't get any fan fair about becoming viscount, you just get it. More like they quietly ushered you in as viscount. Then when the warden arrives and you both disappear, well...like Varric said. Funny how your fortune changes. Personally I think the Warden recruited the Champion and Isabella for the next chapter in the Dragon Age saga.

I think that Varric's interrogation is 10 years after lothering while the point where you fight Meredith is about 7 or 8 years after Lothering. So Cassandra is looking for the Champion 2 years after he/she becomes Viscount. Or not.
