After playing through most of the game, I've been accumulating questions/inquiries based on certain mechanics that I couldn't quite determine on my own.  Feel free to either answer or add a question of your own.

1)  Does Lacerate, when upgraded with Maim, consume the Stagger effect?
2)  Does Mind Blast (or any similar threat dump ability) dump threat globally or just in the tooltip radius?
3)  For Mind Blast (or any similar threat dump ability), what does "Based on Enemy Rank" translate to exactly, from a numerical standpoint?
4)  Does Stealth dump threat, or only temporarily remove it for the duration?
5)  Do Stagger, Disoriente, or Brittle have a fixed duration or is it derived from what source applies it?
6)  In my game manual (I purchased a hard copy for the PC), it states that it requires maximum Friendship/Rivalry to reach a Companion bonus and once reached, it is permanently locked.  Is this true?  I have only anecdotal evidence to the contrary at this point.

I know I'm forgetting a few that've crossed my mind.  I'll post them when I remember.

The only ones I can comment on are, I'm believe I'm correct...
2) I believe Mind Blast is only for the foes you hit with it...

4) After having played a rogue repeatedly, I'm pretty positive Stealth dumps threat entirely. When I stealth, anything that was on me drops all and goes to my next highest threat target, and even after unstealthing, none of them will return to me unless I gain all the threat back.

6) If you mean the companion bonus from their ability tree, I've seen mine change quite a few times, but never have I gotten someone to full Friendship/Rivalry and had them drop or rise enough to see any difference.

Yeah, I meant their friendship/rivalry bonus on their specialization if I wasn't clear.

What I believe happens is the bonus unlocks around 80% or so to max, then locks once you hit 100%.  I could be wrong though.

Ah I see, I can be honest here with focusing heavily on Fenris friend/rival bar, is that once it started going into the blue of friendship, it seems the bonus unlocked, it didn't take too long, just about... let me think.. 3 or 4 +10's I believe gave me the bonus, because at first it appears to be moving incredibly slowly.

After I unlocked the bonus, until I got deeper into friendship it was very hesitant to keep, any little -5 seemed to take it away, after another +10 or two, I mostly stopped paying attention to whether it was permanent after it made it to the end, because once you get them to one side completely, usually your set on how your character is going to make decisions, and you'll never receive enough subtractions to get low enough to see if it is removed, I believe. I mean, unless you purposelly try to get them to max, and then purposelly try to lower them, it'll probably never be an issue.

Can you unlock both the Friendship and Rivalry abilities for the same character?

In other words, once you get the Friendship ability, it doesn't go away if the companion starts stacking up rivalry points, correct?

Hmmmm, this will be something I'll test with my Warrior playthrough (I'm getting close to that one, now) but I'm thinking that once you permanently unlock (If you do) a friendship or rivalry, that the opposite would be locked away no matter how upset or happy you make them, but I'll see if I can do some testing to see if we can obtain both.
