in DA:O and ME/ME2 at some point you get forced into making a choice between your 2 romance options. I'm friends with Isabela and Merril and wondering when/if I have to make another choice. I haven't really decided yet but leaning towards Isabela. when I go to the Hawke estate Isabela is waiting, but I'm putting this off a bit. does spending some quality time there kill  the potential with Merril or can I still make a choice later?

Hmm, all I can say is that I had Isabella and Anders straight after each other and ended up with Fenris as my boyfriend=). My FemHawke is a w***e^^. So I did more than one, but not with Merril.

Isabela and you can sleep together with little or no change in the relationship (she tends to be the first person people sleep with just because it's Isabela and she's a sex idol), but you have to try hard to complete the romance with her. If you do her and then sleep with anders or merril, they'll ask you if you still feel for her beforehand, and you can choose to let them go or sleep with them (you can still complete a relationship with isabela though). Anders and Merril can both be asked to move in with you after you sleep with them, Isabela doesn't move in as far as i know but if you continue to romance her in act 3 she will fall for you and admit her love, and you can do the final kiss that completes a romance before the final battle.

ah thanks so having fun with Isabela early doesn't kill anything yet. Isabela's ****ty but awesome dialogue is great. I can't help but feel she wouldn't mind if you went at it with Merril right afterwards. I mean she did 4 way with Leliana and Zevrann.
