Dear Bioware,

It has been a long beautiful run old gal. I dodged lasers and geth death squads in Mass Effect, evaded danger and raided dungeons in Dragon Age: Origins, then hit the skies again jumping from planet to planet in Mass Effect 2, we had a good run indeed old buddy old pal.

The extra goodies you have bestowed on me through beautiful downloadable content, from stylish uniforms of the space age to a storage space in an age of dragons. But sadly, like all great runs eventually you can't keep up with the one you love, in this case you have ran out of breathe while I stood by and defended you for a good while with your warden's keep glitch that affects human characters in Awakening.

I stood by you for a long while listening to your promises of stopping and looking at your wounds. Eventually you forgotten about your wounds and so did most of us and then I followed you still, not ever fixing what you've stated to me, but I forgave you. We ran together once more with a high sense of pride thinking nothing can stop this juggernaut of a journey you and I have embarked on.

Then came along Dragon Age 2...... you sold out and unleashed yourself on a battlefield of game competition attempting to claim the best prize of best RPG of the year.... while doing so you lost your companions, us gamers.
You unleashed yourself unprepared full of flaw and glitch, made a stargey guide that didn't show all of your quest adventures you have thought out for us and created in your so called perfect world.

You had your testers that played day and night but surely that saw your flaws and warned you before you went ahead. The end result was you coming out onto the field proving your valors with high ratings but we gamers know the truth.

Your new combat system was amazing and your story line was inspiring but your inventory system barely stands, your last act barely holding itself up with bugged quest and reward..... why have you hurt us so? We would have understood if you needed time to prepare, we ourselves would have stopped and saved up coin and space dollar to armor up and fight with you to get the title you seek... instead you just turned your head and looked at us and said you did not need us. You cut me deep Bioware..... you cut me real deep.

**There, since some of you guys are complaining about the format rather than taking the time to highlight and read I spaced random sections.

Why is everyone addressing the "emotional" nature of the post. This game has generally seemed to take a step down from Origins in, what appears to be, an attempt to "Dumb down" the gameplay and make it more accessible to a more "Diverse" group of people. The combat system has been virtually made a non-factor with little to no difficulty, the itemization and customization for characters has been limited quite a lot compared to origins, and the dungeon designs have extremely similar to one another. The box has not been pushed with this game, it has been drawn back and kept closed for the sake of those who are "New" to Rpg's

***********************************************
I hate that most people in the topic are upset of the fact I pointed out many beautiful things and completely failed to mention glitches like Achievements for the Exile Prince, the item drop system in the game how every ring and amulet are the same, how the unique weapons are actually worse than random generated items which should never be the case when the best unique gear becomes worse than generated items, repetitive map layout, and so much more..... please people stop completely defending the title without agreeing to some of the many things done wrong. I for one LOVE Bioware titles.... love love love love LOVE, tis why I said in a creative manner the small..... small flaws. Please, if you are going to hate, hate responsbily.

I seriously teared up a little, bro. You make it sound like BioWare is dying in your arms.

Criticism is one thing. Now we're at outright melodrama. I respect your feelings, but seriously, is a videogame company even worth this much grief?

This is along my opinion... They could have easily charged more than they did for DAO and I would have bought it. Instead, I tried to support them by buying their mediocre DLC and expansion.

Similar with The Witcher 2. I just plunked down $130 for the special edition even though a lot of the 'extra' stuff does not interest me. People are willing to pay for quality.

Of course, BW is going to say "Well, we can't rely on voluntary money to carry us through." But... you almost have to in this age of insanely easy pirating. I'm not condoning pirating, but, face it, every game in existance is a click or two away now.

Also:

For f*** sake it's ONE game. Get over it, if the next one is as disappointing then I might start taking these threads seriously

You guys are like a bi-polar ex-girlfriend. You do SO much for her, but the second you forget to fold the laundry, she storms out of the house

This forum is a joke

Have no fear...there is an awesome looking, brand new rpg coming out this fall. Elder Scroll sized open world, fantasy, rich rpg elements, over 120 fully fleshed dungeons with loot and quests, written by R.A. SALVATORE...art by Todd McFarlane...designed by the father of open world rpgs KEN ROLSTON...full action or tactical combat....bright colors and mystical landscapes...full customization. It is a promising gem I suggest everybody check out

For most of you guys replying. The you are over looking the point, no company should release a game ON TIME when game developer testers show a staff that there are known glitches. Bioware staff ITSELF stated that they would fix a glitch if you bought Warden's Keep and Awakening and got to Awakening sentiel armor as a human player that it is bugged and they would fix it. Year has gone by and problem still exists and when asked about it they ignore it. Yeah, it has been awhile and yes I am over that, I am complaining about the fact that the company was shown known questline glitches and was so worried about releasing on time said **** it and released it.

Both the key marked 'Enter' and the one with a left pointing arrow just below the other with a left-pointing arrow are valid options when, in the course of delivering such messages, you are stuck over just which button to press next. Line breaks are your friends. Seriously, though, walls of text are just damn hard to read.

Also, am I alone in having enjoyed the game?

Well, actually it requires a skill called "reading," which is difficult to do through a steady stream of blood.

Talk about cutting. The OP shreds through my corneas like Rogue Hawke through a darkspawn.

I would hold out until ME3. If that is bad give up but not now for the guys and girls who developed DA2 are a different dev team.

Did you really have to go through all that crap just to say "I don't like the inventory system and some quests are bugged in DA2"? Seriously it was like reading some depressed emo's blog.
