So am I the only one who noticed a complete lack of reaction to Hawke being a Blood Mage if you spec him into it? Seems like for most of the game. Nearly the entire cast are screaming Blood Magic is bad mmmkay. With Merrill being the only exeception to that fact due to her views on it. Yet no mention is ever made that Hawke is a Blood Mage as well if you spec him into it. So it makes me wonder if it's just never brought up because they don't want to end up dead since people seem to die around Hawke with alarming frequency, or it was just ignored for the sake of the story ala removing the scene where Wynne rats you out to Irving, and Gregoir if you use Blood Magic in the Circle.

I play a Templar-placating Blood Mage. At the end Meredith wants to execute the Circle, and Orsino objects it.
Hawke: Isn't there a way to tell if they are Blood Mages?
Meredith: No.
Hawke: [Inner grin]
She realized it when I rained my Paralyzing Hemorrhage upon her, I believe. Oops, too late. :-)

I think it's just ignored for the sake of story.
I justified it as my Hawke just making sure that when she used blood magic, there weren't any witnesses left alive to rat her out to the templars

Yeah its more or less for story reasons, and it can easily be made up for with imagination. *rainbow*
