My Fav is ME2 when I walked into Club Eternity on Illium.  I love that track.  I even bought all soundtracks just to hear it full fledged.   (Sorry if this topic has been made already, but Its hard to tell if I can't do a topic search having to visualy scan through 100+ pages is not my thing)

Goodwood absolutely loved all the bits where the choir starts really getting into it. Particularly End Run and Suicide Mission, which are tied for first, with the other "endgame" songs tied for second.

I still think the best music in Mass Effect ever is the opening theme of the first game, playing over the opening titles and the introduction of Shepard as the Normandy jumps through the relay.

Badass Ending Theme of ME. At first its like the opening Theme when you start the game but then this epic variation. SO god damn' heroic epic.

I think my favourite piece of music is played on Noveria, when Shepard and team walk around in Port Hanshan looking for ways to get a garage pass. It produces a great atmosphere. It was a rather long time since I visited that place, so I don't remember enough to describe better the music, other than the effect that I wanted to linger in it, and imbibe it fully. Would fit a great movie perfectly.

It may be cheating but I love listening to Heart of Courage from the Launch Trailer.

In the games itself, the original Love Theme was always my favorite. Especially when it sets the mood after the death of the Kaidan or Ashley.

Absolutely.

After playing Mass Effect 2 with its (great) frenetic music, going back to ME1 with it's slower, more 'wonderous' vibe gives you a new appreciation for the orginal game.

The end music from the first game.

Really helps the game to feel like its in a sci-fy setting.

As Goodwood said, anything with choir.

In particular, the score played as you enter the Omega 4 relay is a work of art.  Music sets the mood of anything whether it's a movie or a game.

As the Normandy approaches the Omega 4 relay, you're still in a state of dread.  Your thoughts are "oh God, we're all gonna die.  All my friends are gonna die.  Etc."  The way the music changes when the Normandy reverts to normal space has the effect of eliminating that mindset immediately and sets you into a mindset of "the battle is joined.  get the job done."

That's it! Oh, how classy that music is. So moody, full of mystery, sophistication, tension, and promise. I always set that piece of music to be played in the captain's cabin in ME2 for added atmosphere. Thanks a lot for a link to it.
