I live in the United States. I think its around 15% of the population that lives an alternative lifestyle.

Interesting statistic, 4% of the voters in the United States live alternative lifestyles.

That is not a reference...you gave me a name of a textbook and it's author with a year of 2004 .....show me a link to this study that says "20% of the world only thinks it's normal"....?

I did.

Psychology text-books are always updated with current information. Text-books are references.

Extensive samplings were done to get those numbers. Originally, the number was around 7% of the population is living an alternative life style, and only 12% of the population thought it was acceptable.

I'm sorry but I wrote my thread here on a personal level and you trying to use biology and evolution to explain that I am NOT NORMAL, and science in general for that fact is offensive to me, as someone who studies biology... especially when someone clearly does not know what they are talking about, then goes off to ramble about psychology. I am just laughing at this point and somewhat disturbed.

I also don't think homosexual lifestyles are regressive; I actually find them helpful. Since humans are already vastly overpopulating the planet and it is only a matter of time before we exhaust resources and drive most other species extinct, I think any person that decides not to have children (gay or straight) is helpful.

Gays are not slowing down third world birth rates.

And how many people not living alternatively lifestyles should be? Just yesterday my married female friend found out that her husband was cheating on her with another married man. Point being, whatever statisc we get probably under-represents the true population.

That wasn't my point.  I'm just saying anything helps, especially if we are going to see arguments that being gay is "degression", usually stemming from the thought that gays don't naturally reproduce.

I said the fact that you are "using" science in your arguement against me when you clearly have no idea about biology or what evolution is, is offensive to me.....but you know what....I just can't anymore...lol. I can't feed you anymore.

Of course you can't. You can't argue with biology and evolution. If you were capable of having an intellectual conversation, you would have brought some proof to debunk my proof. You didn't.

Your argument was, "I am studying biology"
My argument was, "I am studying psychology, and here is my proof..."

I gave you a reference to look up at a local library, and you gave me an elitist defense to your philosophy.

Link to my reference:
http://social.biowar...54957/6#6631019

Your argument is, "Its not true because I said so."
My argument is, "It is true, and here is my reference."

Can't stand people that make up numbers and/or provide scientific studies that are biased and/or with poor selection criteria.

Not quite, I mentioned many posts back I will not be your biology professor in an online forum that is on a topic that has nothing to even do with my thread to begin with.....you're bats*** crazy if you think I am going to type out a massive lecture for you on evolution. The poor teachers and professors that do this do not even get paid that much....and to spend hours explaining the facts of evolution beyond reproduction is something I am seriously not interested in.
Me explaining to you such a broad topic like evolution is insane, especially to someone like you who likes to play with big scientific words thinking that no one else may actually know a great more deal of this than you.

They are pretty damn good at the whole progressive... OH NO, RUN BIOWARE, GLEN BECK IS COMING TO FIGHT AGAINST THE PROGRESSIVE AGENDA, GET YOU'RE APOCALYPSE SURVIVAL PACKS AND RUN FOR THE HILLS, THE, what maybe 2% of people that fox blows out to be 75% or something, IS COMING TO GET YOU.

These days, the majority of women are Bi, thank the feminist movement, thank the media, thank porn, but that seems to be true from personal observation. and, from personal observation, girls are attractive, men are not. see girls think that they themselves are unattractive, that other women are attractive, and that men are attractive until some crisis point, at which point they might change their opinion based on the sexual encounters, at which stage they become lesbian, Bisexual or Bi curious. (I have yet to meet a girl who hasn't at least thought about it). where as blokes... Our own bodies are works of art second only to the female form.

That is a very broad explanation of modernized sexuality that i have experienced, what i'm trying to say that most straight men don't understand a gay man's attraction, and what we don't understand we must destroy. Where as women have the feminist movement that empowered them and the fact that we find the female form attractive enables. trying to understand the why things the way they are is tricky but i think i just thought my way through it, thank you for indulging me.

anyways, my generation has this thing we call "Gay for LOLs" give it 10 years and everything will be cool

It did the opposite, actually. Now women are useless whiners.

I've never heard that quote/saying before, if only it were true...I guess time will tell...speaking of which, that was meant to be a whole undertone of my OP, how things change with time.
I like what you said about destroying what people don't understand....though, I am actually quite surprised by the amount of heterosexual men on these forums have no issue with those options being available in game.

Lol... What!?!? Hahaha... How much do you want to make a bet that the male heterosexuals on these forums support female homosexuality over male homosexuality? ...and, it has nothing to do with it being acceptable. Its all about it being sexually taboo, and that makes the female on female action a turn on.

Unacceptable female on female action by society = 'turn on' to hetrosexual adolescent and adult men.

I am glad that the option is offered for those who want it. It's not like the option is pushed in your face like 'play a homosexual person, now!' I personally hardly ever play ******- or bisexual characters (done once as an NPC at a larp XD), but it would be rather selfish to demand that others can't play as such.

Besides, could the 'scienctific quoting' please hold a bit? Research about opinions tends to be a bit doubtful when it comes to their amount of 'trueness'. There are way too many reliables, especially if you don't know the exact way of research, which questions where asked and in which way. Opinions are opinions, and therefor subjective. Objective facts are easier to research, and still get outdated every now and then... so, let's just keep it more lighthearted here, shan't we? ;)

When one has to intentionally shoot down Anders to avoid the homosexual relationship, that borders on "pushed in one's face" I think :-P

Lol... I kill Zevran everytime I play the game. Why? I don't want to be annoyed. When I hear and see Wade, I can't help but think of the song "YMCA!".

LOL @ "most guys" being turned on by stuff because it's "unacceptable" and "taboo".

To men who don't read Twilight, visual and obvious is OVER NINE THOUSAND times more likely to be the explanation than "ooh it's dangerous and taboo".

It's sex involving attractive women, and the fact there are no other men on camera is a bonus.

As far as statistics go, Gay marriage approval is over 50% in some studies. Even outside of this hugely contested issue (thanks to religion), general approval for people being able to live whatever lifestyle they choose is well over 20%. Where do you live that it is 20%?

Yeah, that must be why gay marriage has been rejected everytime it was put to a vote here in the states.
