The battle systems in this game seem to be sort of... redundant after a certain point... it just seems as if there are just waves and waves of the same units until a "boss" comes along and you must defeat it. This just cycles through over and over again, interrupted by the occasional cutscene, change of armor/weaponry, etc. Was this intentional or is it just lazy?
In addition to this, the dungeon design seems to be completely recycled from the first few designs. I mean, I appreciated the designs initially, but at a point it just gets really repetitive, doing the same activity over and over again in the same dungeon designs. I hope this changes with the DLC that will inevitably come out (Being customary with all newer RPG-like games), but I hope I won't have to actually pay for the variety that the original game appears to be lacking at this stage in the game. (Roughly 2/3 of the way though) <_<

On NIghtmare I thought the combat system was a huge improvement overall, the waves get a little redundant yes, but I actually enjoyed the combat this time around, so I won't nitpick.
Reusing the same 4 dungeons to the degree they did however was just embarrasing/insulting, as in, it made me embarrassed to have defended and supported the company in the past.
