I doubt their is going to be an expansion.

but I guess I also doubted that Anders would ever go Jihad on me...

Just want to point out that you shouldn't use the word Jihad if you don't know what it means. Before making all your assumptions on a word because of what you hear on the news, look up its meaning first. As a muslim, I find it offensive that you use that term in a derogatory  way.

Now, to be on topic. I don't feel the HoF or Hawke will return in the flesh again. Mentioned, perhaps hinted at, maybe even shown in bone/ashes form, yes. But I don't think they'll make another appearance, for many reasons, mainly because everyone's Hawke and HoF looked different and I doubt the new engines that will probably come out will be able to import them properly and also the fact that the HoF can be many different races and can't speak.

But also I feel that their disappearance plays a vast role in the story and bringing them back would diminsh this role. Basically will all the 'heros' gone, Thedas has no one to turn to when things turn sour..a perfect opportunity. for a NEW hero to arise.

Maybe it would be more reasonable to believe DA III or a DA II expansion would have only Hawke as a playable character due to the fact the the HoF story had more closure opportunities than that of Hawke at the end of DA II.
I bring up the idea of playing a game divided between two characters because No matter what happens, both Hawke and the Warden are no where to be found at the end of the game. Plus Bioware has been shaking up story structure with both ME2 and DA2 so its not all to unlikely to happen.

We use Jihad in a religoous  context as a reference to keep faith, improve things for fellow muslims, and the defense of religon of Islam.

I figured the radical description fitted Anders, which is why I said it.
P.S. - You arent the only muslim on the forum dude. <_<

DA3 is either the next hero for the take-down Flemeth squad or when the Warden and Hawke actually take Flemeth down.

Im down for the take down squad.Flemeth saved you both at the beginning of the game and then you both vanish at the end.....

Two main characters in an RPG? I could see it work and if it works, it will be glorious. I support the idea!

I truly believe Hawke and the Warden have gone off to find the "True Sith." They are not coming back in DA3.

Also to spread the word of muslims etc. etc.

I know. Doesn't mean you should state it as a bad thing, most consider Ander's act, one of terrorism, just sticking the phrase Jihad on it is rather insulting. Jihad could be a multitude of things and jihad mostly refers to personal jihad, cleansing one's own soul and refraining from temptation (which is nothing like what Anders was doing). Not bombing places. Also it's only radical if you use it in a radical context, just like 'abolishment' can be considered a radical word, when it only is in that context.

I never said I was the only muslim. I said AS a muslim, I find it offensive.

I agree that a DA2 expansion would most likely have Hawke as the playable character, but I have my doubts of DA3. Seeing as Hawke is offically MIA at the moment, his return in DA3 seems skeptical at best, while Hawke's story doesn't have much closure, I don't think it ever can because there was no true obstacle to over come (no evil to defeat), no 'ending', Hawke's life continues, nothing can really be concluded. Whereas for HoF, he has the blight to overcome, after that, you can conclude what happens as a result.

No harm done, I just tend to speak out when I see things like that being said, jihad and such are very sensitive topics for most muslims. I don't like people using it in the wrong context and giving the wrong impression of it's meaning.

What if then DA3 is about trying to find either of the 2 or about executing the Templars plan. It appears there are now 2 factions of templars to contend with as well as the Black and White Divines and the mages as a focus. Still it is curious as to the fate of both Hawke and the Warden, plus that of Morrigan and Flemeth.

Not sure which way they'll go with DA3. I was hoping I'd get to have the Warden Commander and Hawke in my party but i doubt it, would be awesome though.
