So i just finished Blackpowder Courtesy, and now doing some wounded coast. When I attack now, a shield with an "X" over it pops up over the crossed swords to the left of the enemy name. This has never happened before. Happens for me (rogue) and Fenris, but not for my mages. What's up with that?
X over enemy heads while attacking wth?

It means they resisted something you did. Might be a passive or modal ability that has a chance to cause an effect such as stun or stagger.

Think thats to tell you your current target when the shield shows up its a resist or immunity.

Twin swords is current target. The shield is as Loc said
