So I just finished Blackpowder Courtesy and now when attacking I get a shield with an "X" over the crossed swords to the left of the enemy name while attacking. This happens so far for Hawke (rogue) and Fenris, and not for my mages. Anyone know what that is? It's the first I've seen it all game and I don't seem to have any decreased combat efficiency.
Thanks,
ShauN

Answered in other forum (story forum). Please ignore. Didn't mean to post twice. Thought other was deleted or moved....

I'm pretty sure that means they are immune to flanking, crits, stuns, or something of the sort. It's giving you a symbol to let you know that whatever you're trying to do isn't going to effect them.
For example, try activating a skill like Pinpoint Strikes (100% crit chance 10 seconds) on a mob you're seeing no crits on, but is giving you the X with the crossed swords, and likely you'll see every hit give you the crossed swords. It just means that mob has a skill or item that gives them immunity to something you're trying to do.
Edit: Darn, posted this just as you said that. Oh well! It'll be here in case anyone else is curious. Also.. it was also answered in this forum as well, a few pages back. If only we could discover the search button hidden here somewhere...
