also: more "Lazarus projects" for dead ME2 squaddies (or Ash/Kaidan, Saren, ...). Dead characters should stay dead.

Generally any form of 'the VS is now an enemy and must be fought' would be enough to inflame my bile duct but if this came to be, I would start throwing up bits of my lungs.

Cerberus is secretly an Alliance cell the way the Asari have their commandos/Justicars and the Salarians have the STG. The Alliance allows them to do horrible things that they themselves can't to advance humanity, but pretend they are terrorists so they don't lose their standing with the Council and galactic community. When Cerberus gets out of line or caught, they allow that individual branch closed off.. only after they download all the data.

So in ME2 you are technically still working for the Alliance And it's a big 'oh shiiiii' moment in ME3.

That's my crazy theory.

This was obvious from the first cutscene of ME2 onward.  I've never not thought that.  So, honestly, I don't see why it's stupid

Samara sacrifices herself to save Shepard in an early attack (must be very emotional and unexpected). This is to make space for Liara to join.

On Earth, Conrad Verner (forgot spelling) pushes Shepard out of the way, sacrificing himself to save Shepard from being squished by a Reaper. Best surprise EVAR!!!

Protheans survived on the citadel in cryo, and help turn the Citadel into a giant battle station to fight the Reapers

EDI goes rogue, and leaves the story until the end, where she comes back with a bunch of Reapers under her control to help in the fight against the bad Reapers.

More sacrifices, but since they used up the suicide and Ultimate Sacrifice is MEGA Super Sayan 5 sacrifice.

A team member is a reaper/indoctrinated.

Council being indoctrinated - will laugh and cry so hard...

Hackett being traitor.

Shephard with a small team infitrate the main reaper/reaper base and battle an avatar of the reapers to save the galaxy.

Shephard dies...again...

Team mates die at the beginning of the game - Garus, Tali, Grunt, Thane etc.

EDI battles Reaper minds and Shephard needs to pick dialogue lines to keep her on his side.

TIM, and Cerberus, with its crew of 100-150 operatives creating reapers and being a serious threat to the entire galaxy, like many seen to think will happen if you give the Collector base to Cerberus.
