Garrus unable to rally his species yes, Samara not so much.  It's already struck me as a good idea to bring her along (if needed) to my next council meeting to hear the Asari counselor have to say "I accept the judgment of the justicar."

I suspect as much already, either that or he's a Prothean or even an A.I.  If he IS a Reaper, why do I need more incentive to kill him?

Prepare to probably get sick then, Tali mentions when talking to Shepard post-successful loyalty mission that there's talk of making her an Admiral to replace her father.

Yeah I don't see Garrus in a position to rally his people and it would be goofy if Bioware does that.

I could see Tali becoming an Admiral and Samara's judgment being respected by Asari leaders without being but I can't imagine why Garrus would have a big effect on how the Turians decide to handle the Reapers. Justicars are the most repsected organization in Asari society, moreso than the matriarchs, I think. Tali's father was an Admiral and I think she was always going to be considered to replace her father, it just happened sooner than they liked but Garrus was just a C-Sec officer, why would he be able to rally his species? Sure, his father was a famous C-Sec officer but I think it's more likely that we'll just use the evidence we collected at the end of ME2 to convince the Turian councilor of the Reaper threat. 

Plus, I want to tell the Turian councilor "Told you so" without Garrus doing it first.

If you're responding to my post(s) - I say twice (two posts) I don't think Garrus can rally his species.  Then again, if you save the Council the Turians are already looking more favorably towards humans so that may not be an issue.

I agree with you that Garrus can't rally his species. I just wanted to post my own opinions of what I think Garrus, Tali, and Samara are going to do in ME3. So, I was only sorta repying to your posts.

- Shepard has to deal with daddy issues
- Game is solved by a riddle like in Star Trek
- Game is solved by an event happening in Shepard's mind
- Moralizing at the end
- An obvious modern day political parallel
- Shepard turns out to be gay
- Bioware changes the game format to an MMO so you can make your own ending

Time Travel
No no no no no! Too easy and contrived. Also silly given that the Mass Relays are essentially a form of time travel themselves to begin with. I don't mind "portals" or whatever to alternate realities or universes, but please no Back to the Future. I don't want to find out Shepard created the Reapers, and that a very old feeble version of your Shepard has been controlling them all this time.

Muster the Fleet
Seriously if it's possible for us to beat the Reapers simply by grouping together in a big  fleet I will feel let down by the series. If the Reapers are that feeble then how has no other race(s) ever managed to defeat them over the millions of years? Don't make the Reapers into less of a threat. Harbinger and the Collectors already did a lot to damage the Reaper's image of being omnipotent.

Those are really it for me. Anything else is fine. Defeating the Reaper's with a virus or their own technology is okay as well, but a little bit to obvious. Personally I'm prefential to finding an advanced alien race to bail us out. Or hopefully I'll be pleasantly surprised.

Also yes please no babies or marriages, etc. at the end. That stuff is just too corny. And no evil clone Shepard/reincarnated Saren to fight either. Tali should probably keep her helmet on as well.

Okay think I'm done now. Hmm guess I'm not so much concerned about plot twists as the ending itself, since obviously if anyone could guess what the plot twists would be, well they wouldn't really be plot twists.

***SPOILERS*** FROM THE PROGRAMMERS OF ME3

The relay used for reapers to travel to Earth us a toll road and they run out of change, then just part of the fleet cross thru.
Kasumi, Tali and Legion work together to hack a reaper and install windows XP on his main core. Between slowdown and blue screen reapers star to collapse.
In the peak of the battle Gallactica and Pegasus jump in by coincidence. Then they run away.
Sovereign was the grandpa of all reapers, and all of them are human size.
Sheppard needs to send a message to a galaxy far, far away, and get help from either the clone army (renegade) or the Jedi Council (paragon).

I can really see this happening, along with some Shepard-centric plot twist where it's revealed that organics must be harvested in order to preserve the universe. I can deal with the second point, but man...I really hope there's no time travel.

Going off of that I'm also expecting some twist of "oops, turns out you aren't the real Shepard after all" in ME3. Just some copy Cerberus made. The ME1 Shep would either be the main antagonist (ala time travel) or some sort of plot device.

Gonna have to wait and see. I really hope neither of those ideas make it in.

Heres another one, the Reapers were actually created by humans millions of years ago and then we went extinct! But we hid our DNA so that we would evolve once more on our planet and now the reapers realize that their creators are back so they must fullfill their original purpose and what they were created for: ascending us to a new state of consciousness.
