Shepard wakes up on Mars and we find out that he was a caveman the whole time. The Protheans were testing the humans to see if they were worthy of being uplifted, like the Krogan.

has anyone said the game ends to you finding out that it was a worse case scenario simulation with certain variables left to your control so you can determine how bets to handle it. and you've been on Arcturus Station the whole time and that the reapers are known about.

Being able to defeat the reapers with thanix cannons or by doing a gettysburg charge on them with an entire fleet and blowing them all up

That would make me kill myself

No don't do that! I need your liver intact! Mine died on me yesterday... Or was it two days ago?

Anyway, OT:

Any space battle that uses brute force to defeat the reapers

Squadmates become DISTANT cameos

As previously noted, Legion or TIM being Reaper agents (It would completely invalidate TIM's character as the megolomaniac in charge of Cerberus and make all Renegades that kept the base into suckers, which would be ironic but not in a good way)

If at the end of ME storyline you wake up only to realize it was a dream. In reality you work as a walking billboard.

Also the worst twist for me was finding out Miranda was infertile. 100+ years into the future and we can rebuild Shepard's body, but we can't fix a womb? Yeah right....

We can make heart transplants today but we can't cure the common cold, Medical progress ain't a strait line (indead no technical progress is).

the reason they haven't and can't cure the "common cold" is because its a virus that changes everytime you get it. that is every time you have a cold its a different mutation of the virus and any anti-virus that you would have taken for a previous strain is completely useless vs what you have now.

-There isnt a scene with the turian counceller standing ontop of the citadel screaming at the oncoming reaper fleet "I REFUTE THIS CLAIM"

-Conrad saves the day instead of shepard

-Turns out that harbringers voice was made by a little dude in the center of the ship with a cool microphone

Muster the Fleet

Seriously if it's possible for us to beat the Reapers simply by grouping together in a big  fleet I will feel let down by the series. If the Reapers are that feeble then how has no other race(s) ever managed to defeat them over the millions of years? Don't make the Reapers into less of a threat. Harbinger and the Collectors already did a lot to damage the Reaper's image of being omnipotent.

I really don't think the Reapers were ever supposed to be "omnipotent". If they were, Sovereign wouldn't have been surprised that someone other than Saren was speaking to him on Virmire.

And the Reapers were so successful in the past because they had the element of surprise. They attacked through the Citadel and destroyed any chance the rest of the galaxy had of grouping together. Your comment seems to betray the importance of the events of ME1.

With how often 'dark matter' was randomly slipped into conversation, it makes more sense that they'll trigger some kind of blackhole (or wormhole? Sci fi isn't my strong point) effect to suck in the reapers. If the point of the game is to trap the reapers on earth, disable the replay, and create a blackhole... well, gah. :/

The Reapers are really NASA probes from the late 70's that travelled bak in time and are now searchign for their creators. Their leader is called V'GER.
What? It's been done? But, I was only joking!

OK, how about they're looking for these whales....

Going through ME3 without thinking that how Reapers were created won't have anything to do with the plot. And the not so random mentions of dark matter won't have anything to do with defeating them.

BSG pulled political themes of perfectly, and became a hugely successful sci-fi program.

Political themes are what ruined BSG for me and why I stopped watching. It was ham-handed out totally out of place.

Keep the real-world politics out of my sci-fi, thank you.

I will second that the Quarian Flotilla is a very potent battle force even if they are hand me downs.

They can serve as a distraction since those ships are the worst in the galaxy.

They also have the largest fleet in the Galaxy... fear the Quarian swarm.
