wait a mage killed him?! Where in the game did they say this.Rheia wrote...
Also, remember the mage that killed Hawke's mother? Orsino knew of him too. Food for thought.
Necromancy (blood magic) is magic.
Nothing more can be said regarding that.
(notice how only your mothers HEAD is part of the amalgamation of body parts the insane mage built)
Seriously though... I played a mage initially and I wanted to be pro mage through and through... but boy was it hard to even chose... I think I stared at the "side with mages/side with templars" prompt for about 12 minutes before I went "ok, this is stupid, I wanted to RP a pure pro mage guy" /clicks support mages...
Also... a mage killed HER (as in your mother, a female, unless you RP'd something different?)
So am I understanding? Is Orsino a Blood Mage and Meredith a demon?

Why would they join you like that? Grey Wardens are... well... grey. They stand in the middle and take no sides. They didn't help with the Qunari what makes you think they would help with Templars or mages?Nastrod wrote...
By the time the game was done I wanted both sides to just be killed off. It is not one of those cases where it is a gray area on who is right or wrong since both are completely wrong. The writing staff on Mass Effect does the whole which side is right or wrong much better for example who is right between the Geth vs quarian or krogan and the genophage.
When I sided with the mages I could not believe all the crap from kidnapping my sister, destroying the chantry, being attacked by mages, everyone of them is a blood mage even their damn leader, and on and on.
I wish their was a option to have wardens or something join you then you can kill both sides.
From their point of view both faction can help fight Darkspawn. Templar recruits can dispell Emissarys and Mages can heal their fellow Wardens, buff their fellow Wardens, and blow up darkspawn. Thats all Grey Wardens care about.

Thats true. however we never find out how much orsino knew about the research. however the mad mage that killed hawke's mother did something that was considered impossible: resurrecting a person. It could be that orsino's intentions are benign but he simply didn't know what kind of ****ed up luny he was supporting.
