Here is what I did:

I  go to my profile and look at the list of profiencies under "Builder information".   In my case that list is:

<div style="margin-left: 40px;">3D modelling
Scripting
Scenario design
Tools programming </div><div>
I click on one of the links (in this case "Tools programming", and get a list of groups.  Now, I would expect those groups to have that particular proficiency in their "Seeking help with" list - after all, the idea here is to match up proficiencies with those needing them, right?

Wrong.

The group list I get is:

Paragon's Paradox
</div><div style="margin-left: 40px;">Cinematics
Story writing
Voice acting

</div><div>Gaming Parents Studios (GPS)
</div><div style="margin-left: 40px;">Writing dialog
Scenario design
Project management
Story writing

</div><div>Feline Fuelled Games
</div><div style="margin-left: 40px;">2D Art
3D modelling
Tools programming
Audio/Sound effects
Scripting
Writing dialog

</div><div>(corrected)Only a single group seeking help with "Tools programming" shows up.   On the other hand, if I click on "3D modelling", I get various other groups, including

Player Resource Consortium
</div><div style="margin-left: 40px;">2D Art
Tools programming
Scripting
</div><div>
As you can see, they are not looking for 3D modelling skills, according to this list, but are seeking help with tools programming, so I would have expected them to show up in the earlier search.
</div><div style="margin-left: 40px;">
</div><div>Something is broken here...unless I <span _fcktemp="1"></span>am completely misunderstanding the purpose of this feature.</div>

You've got Feline Fuelled Games as having Tools programming though that might just be a typo.

It used to be that everyone wanted everything regardless of what was ticked so this might actually be an improvement. Still broken though!

ah, my mistake...yes, but as you said...it is still broken.

(and yes, editing my earlier post messed it up - inserting the "span" affter every word ending in an upper case letter "I" and "3D", and also messing up the indented blocks.

The group and user proficiencies are now synchronized, this should not be a problem anymore.
